I love the Hobo look and this has it. The quality of the material is better than expected. It is very soft and flexible. The shade of red is deep with areas of lighter red to give it such a natural look. The stitching is black which gives it just the right look. There are two outside zipper pockets, one on either side of the bag. There is a zippered divider inside the bag along with another small inside zipper pocket. There are also two open pockets for sliding a phone into and another to hold small incidentals. The one thing I do not like about Hobo bags is trying to find stuff when it is all thrown into the bag without organization. There are plenty of pockets but I also like to have small makeup bags inside my purse with items separated for locating items easily. The accents of gold loops and accessories that dangle from the bag give it a rich look. It is called 'red' but a very deep red, maybe even wine color. Goes with most any outfit! It has a small / short single strap about 1.5" wide, so to have purse under arm & up close to the chest. There is also an attachable / adjustable strap about 1/2' thick to hang purse at any desired length. The ONE thing I don't like is I cannot remove the small strap (shown in picture) from the purse if I want to use the longer one. It either hangs outside of the bag or I try to keep it tucked inside. But it isn't enough to take away from everything else I love about this bag.

I have had this bag for a few weeks and I can't say enough good things about it. It looks like leather, it holds everything I need comfortably, it is not too heavy when empty (a very important factor!) and there are compartments all over for extra items. Besides the magnetic closure, you can pull the 2 strings tight for a well-closed bag, which I found comforting while travelling. The front has a small strap holding a tiny bag with a snap that, as far as I can see, is too small to hold anything, but it is very cute. So far I have found all the straps to be very sturdy and it's nice that both the shoulder strap and the wider strap are removable. I bought the camel color and it is a very stylish brown, a little duller than the picture, but that is a good thing. I am 5'5" and this is a large bag, but not too large to be overwhelming. I love it, and it is a fantastic buy for this price. When I told someone who complimented me what the price was, she was totally amazed, so the bag really looks more expensive than it is. A great buy!

Although not what I would call a true beige, being more brown, this bag is very well made for the price. It is large enough to carry all your essentials, and perhaps to carry a bottle of water and light lunch too. I carry numerous pens(being a pen lover), Kindle, wallet, eye glass case, cosmetic bag, small Kleenex pouch and foldable shopping bag (very small when folded) and other odds and ends. It's well made and you can unsnap the short handle and just use the shoulder strap, so you have options. It stays shut when you shut it, and stands nicely when you set it down. Stays on your shoulder fairly well when using the shoulder strap. All in all, for this very reasonable price, it is a great everyday bag for taking to work, etc. and looks very nice too.

Update,I re-purchased this bag in a different color last year. I had an accident and the bag was a negative reminder. So here I am for the 3rd time ordering this bag. The fish smell was so faint that I was able to air it out overnight and fishy smell be gone. I removed the shoulder straps because I am a size 14 hooked up the cross body and adjusted the straps to the shortest settings and voila perfect.I intend to use this bag all year. The gray color is a great alternative to black and the gray is dark enough that it will go with everything.I should also point out that 3rd time is a charm because this is the cheapest I have purchased the bag to date. I feel like I should pick up the rest of the color.To note: this is a Scarelton bag so the zippers will FAIL sooner rather than later so I I don't use the zippers. The straps will also fail because for reasons I don't understand zippers and straps are a foreign concept to Scarleton. If I get a years worth of use at a cost of $17.99 I will be more than pleased.This is a gorgeous bag, the gray color is very chic and very on trend. So why am I returning it? The shoulder straps for some reason they look nice and big in the picture. But in order to get that kind of length, you are going to have to add the adjustable cross body (which in my mind defeats the purpose of the shoulder strap)The other reason the fish/chemical smell. I shrugged it off and placed it on the back of my door knob a few hours later went back into my bedroom holy omg I am choking gotta open the window in the North East's worst winter. DAYUM room stinks of pure bio-hazard. I have always poo pooed reviews with the "Fish Stink" I guess this means my karma caught up to me.I do believe that if you air out this purse it will eventually not smell so damn toxic. The gray color is awesome. It is a bucket style bag so don't expect to dump your life into it and expect to find stuff fast. I dislike Scarleton zippers but ymmv..All in all gorgeous bag but my arm pits were hurting as I walked around inside my place so it will go back.
