Exactly what we wanted - millimetres too wide for the feet of our grate, but perfect depth into the fireplace and height under the grate. So a few whacks with the hammer on the each side and we've got want we needed. The sticker inside the pan is hard to remove, but - you know - it's only gonna be full of ash!

Works as expected. Fits well and looks well made.My only gripe was the big sticky label stuck right on top of the tray. A total nightmare to remove, it’s the super sticky glued on type that doesn’t peel off. As you try to peel it it just starts to peel in small pieces then snaps off, leaving the glue residue behind. Why oh why couldn’t they use an easy peel label. This annoyed me so much that I dropped a star. Apart from the label the tray is great.

Accurate measurements are crucial to check the pan will fit under the grate! Here they are for potential buyers:Length widest = 34cmsLength shortest = 26cmsDepth = 4cmsThis will remove the need to “bash” the sides in a little in order accommodate the cm difference stated for it to fit, as I needed to do!!Otherwise, a great quality pan.

It is small than I was expecting needs to be clearer in the description but I only want it for a spare so I don’t mind so much .
