It has good coverage from the sun, fits like a tighter styled hoody, is light but densely knitted terry cloth, and is absorbent. I bought for my on-the-small-side two year old (about the size of an 18 month old baby.) Hem hits just above mid-thigh on my shorty, and the arms need to be rolled a touch, but she can put her little hands in the front pouch and the hood shades her eyes. Also, she needs help getting it off and on.

Bought this for my 2 year old son. Usually can only find these for my daughter, so I was happy to find a boy color themed one. We spend a lot of time at the pool and beach in the summer months so this was absolutely perfect. Great fabric, not too itchy, soft enough, not too thick (who wants it thick and too warm in the summer months?). I do wash this, but never have put it in the dryer. Just hung to dry and have not had a problem with it shrinking. Hoping it fits my son next summer. If not, will purchase the next size up.

I order one of these for my 7 month old and one for my 2 year old. They are perfect for after the pool/ beach so they don't have to stay in their wet clothes. I ordered them a few sizes too big so they would be nice and baggy. I do wish they were a bit longer. The colors are very vibrant.

bought for my son for our summer vacation, bought ahead of time 1 size up and fits him well. keeps him covered and dries at the same time when he's out of the water. Nice colors for boys.

It's hard to find a swim "cover up" for a boy, so when I found this, I purchased immediately! I love it! It fits great, it's perfect for the beach or pool, and it's not overly hot or bulky. would purchase again and recommend

Good cover-up for our son who doesn't like hats. But after 2-3 washes, the hood seems too small and is hard to pull over his head.

I love terry cloth becuase of how soft it is to the touch and it is especially a summer favorite material. But this material feels rough to the touch. I don't know if its the dye they used to make the colors but its not soft. I miss the days of thick, plush and soft terry cloth. I hope somebody starts making nice terry cloth material again!

My daughter wore this all summer and is now in 12 month clothes. This still fits a little loose, which is what I wanted. We swim in Louisiana until Thanksgiving so, this is going to last longer than I had even hoped. Highly recommend for after the pool and beach!
