Can this timer be removed and used to control a 1.5" solenoid valve, if so can you offer any suggestions on a compatible model valve?.

I would not think it would have the capability of operating a larger solenoid valve.

What can it be wrong with the 3/4 anti-siphon valve that when solenoid opens the anti-siphon air vent opens drains all the water and failed wateriing?

Foreign matter at the solenoid seat. Another possibility is that the inlet and outlet pipes reversed on the valve...pressure side should be where the solenoid is....outlet side where the anti siphon valve is.

What is the centerline distance between the inlet and outlet fittings?

I measure mine right at 3 5/8" on centerline.
