J.V. Converting Black Masking Tape – 1-1/2 in. x 60 yds. All Purpose Masking Tape, Great for Arts and Crafts, Painting Projects, Scrapbooking, Classroom Supplies and More

My husband is using it in the museum for our village. They are using it to protect hundreds of old pictures my using the tape as a framing material along with a mid-heavy plastic. This is in order to keeping dust and dirt destroying the pictures.

It’s tape, as advertised. Not to sticky or gummy, not to fragile. It gets the job done.

Not masking tape. This does not stick to anything. Sticky notes have more glue. It’s also a very very thin paper. Not anything like regular masking tape. Update: The first few layers must have just dried out. I had to try and use this again, because I need it. The next layers did stick as expected, but left some glue when I removed it. The glue did not come off easily. I used this on a smooth plastic. So overall this tape seems to be very inconsistent. I will find another.

I needed a tape to border my projector screen. And this worked perfect. A low cost alternative to velvet etc .. It does not reflect and sticks as required.

Use it for an art project for preschoolers. Great!

So easy to frame windows and doorways.
