Speick Pre Electric Shave Lotion 3.4oz preshave

I bought this lotion because of the positive reviews. It lives up to the recommendation. Not oily or harsh on the skin. Assists in a smoother comfortable and closer shave with my Braun Series 9 electric shaver. I highly recommend this product.

I'm habitually sceptical about such things, particularly as I am 71 with what I believe is classed as a "grizzled" chin that normally scoffs at all grooming products. My Panasonic razor had ceased to "cut it" (pun intended) and my skin was drying up, so I thought I'd give this a go. This lotion did an excellent job from day 1, leaving me with a nicer and more comfortable shave and a wife no longer mumbling about "kissing sandpaper cheeks". As an added bonus it's made under EU regulations so you know there's no dodgy chemicals in there. I can recommend this most highly and will henceforth be a repeat customer!

I recently purchased a Phillips I9000 Prestige Ultra electric shaver and used it 5 or 6 times before I received this pre-shave lotion. I found that the shaver worked very well on my dry face, even though I have a tough beard and sensitive skin. A great shave and only the slightest skin irritation. But I did notice that the shaver was not performing quite as well on the left side of my face, probably because I am right-handed and not applying the same pressure, etc. On the very first application of the Speick lotion, I noticed a remarkable difference: equal results on both sides of my face, not even the slightest skin irritation, and a very close shave all round. This product does what it claims to. As for the scent, it has a bit of a peppery scent to me. The lavender isn't too strong, I find. Well done, Speick!

Die pre-shave-lotion macht genau, was sie soll. Sie richtet die Barthaare auf und schafft einen Gleitfilm für den Rasierer. Das Ergebnis ist eine perfekte und sanfte Rasur. In Kombination mit einem Aftershabe ergibt es ein entspanntes Rasierergebnis. Perfekt. Was den Geruch anbelangt, so ist das ein zitroniger, kräutriger, frischer Geruch, der auch relativ schnell verfliegt. Also kein Grund, das Produkt zu meiden.
