    BigCheetahmedia- Great seller, great game!

I ordered from BigCheetahmedia, and it shipped out the same day I ordered it and arrived a few days early. Came with everything they said it would: original case with the cover art, the manual and the game in excellent condition. I’ve had no problems with glitching and freezing which can be common with old DS games. Extremely satisfied!!

A Game That I Kind Of Regret Buying Since It Kiled My L Button (A Teens Review)

*by T***. on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 20, 2011*

I was browsing for games that were cheap, a little early Christmas present for myself since I'd been playing my old games for so many years, they were starting to get more then a little tiring. So, while I was looking for cheap games this game up because a partner seller on Amazon was selling it for six bucks with FREE shipping. Who can beat that, right? So I bought the game, after reading a couple of mixed reviews. (If you want to know about 'it killed my L button, skip down to the bottom)Let me state first that this game started out kind of annoying. You start out in the game as a Sim who's rich Uncle (I think he's rich) lets you run his spa. Anyway, right after you arrive, you get stuck with watching this homeless pup until the Janitor can find a home for him. You're supposed to take care of him. Now, you're thinking, "Oh, that's easy. Just give him a bath, fed him, play with him. What's so hard about that?" well, I can tell you right now that this game at first will make you feel like pulling your hair out.- Beginning the game: After you start out in the game and you get stuck with taking care of a dog/cat which will bring you no money (and you just end up wasting money on) you have to treat it like a "spa pet". To do that, go over to the animal (dog or cat) and tap it with your stylus. Then, two options will come up. "Pet dog" and "Play Buried Treasure". (More on that below) After you click "Pet dog" it'll pull up with this menu where you see the dog walking around the apartment. You get three icons off the corner of the screen: a box with a ball in it, a dog tag and a bow. When you click the dog tag, you'll immediately come to a screen where the dogs in a bathroom and there's yet MORE choices.Magnifying Glass: click this to diagnose the pet to see what you need to do. Also, if you try to do anything to the pet without this, the pet will become less happy (depending on what you do) and you also waste time which will mean that the pet/owner will not be happy and won't give you any money for the time they caused you to waste. After you click it, you'll see that you're going to be timed. The dogs picture will twirl then stop at a random place and depending on what sign it gives you, you have to tap, scribble (which is hard to do, I actually have to DIG the stylus into the screen for it to register that I scribbled on the screen) and another option I believe, which I can't remember. Icons will come up on the screen and if you don't know what they mean, don't worry. They'll put "Dirty" and such on the board beside the clock afterward and you'll know what you have to do. Also, it seems like this game revolves around time because you are CONSTANTLY being timed on EVERYTHING.Brush: You have to brush the animal in SLOW strokes. DON'T make long, quick strokes or the animal will get pissed and try to escape and you'll hear a lot of growling and you'll lose time. So when you see an arrow, slowly and shortly brush with your stylus where that arrow is and the dog will be happy.Glove: It's actually a hand, but to me it looks like a glove. Anyway, this is when you give the animal a "massage". You'll see these circles on the pet, which you have to move your stylus over.Shower head (dirty): This is to give the pet a bath. You have to hold down the L or R buttons of the DS while you move your stylus to the circles on your pet on the touch screen which causes the pets cleanliness to go up.Bottle that looks like flea spray or something: I have NO idea what this is for, since I didn't get very far into the game to need this. I know just you do the same with this as you do with the Perfume bottle, which is below.Perfume (stinky): If the animal is "stinky" you need to use this to spray the dog with perfume, probably to make it smell better which actually could be done with SOAP. But of course, the makers thought making the dogs sick with the smell of perfume was better. Wrong. On this, you have to spray the perfume CONSTANTLY on the circles that will appear on the pet WHILE you move the stylus. To spray the perfume you have to keep hitting the L or R buttons which becomes an annoyance. There's much more of this game that I haven't reviewed but these are just the VERY basics, and I didn't even go over some of the other things. All in all, this game revolves around timing. There's mini games, but you're also timed on those, there's taking care of your pet but you're ALSO timed on that. Day time turns into night too fast and by the time you get your Sim to bed, it's morning and there's already someone waiting for you in the spa. By the time you get your Sim up and to the elevator and to the spa, the person will pack up their pet and leave. But aside from all this I COULD have gotten really into it, if it hadn't been for the perfume/flea spray. Since I had to repeatedly keep pressing the L/R buttons, my L button my DS Lite broke. It no longer works and as far as I know, it can't be replaced without getting a new DS Lite. Luckily, it wasn't a major game button but still. If I had known about ALL of these things before buying it, I doubt I would have wasted 6 bucks on it.Buy and play at your own risk. I know I will be trading this in.
