I used this for awhile and it worked fine. I did have the occasional issue with keeping the compartment lids closed, but I actually found those useful for storing components. This is probably the perfect mat to use for jewelry or working on cell phones as there are many places you can organize small components and screws. There is a raised portion that is perfect for placing the watch or cell phone you're working on, but ended up being my issue. I'm going to give this 5 stars as my ultimate reason for ordering a more plain Silicone Work Mat with a smooth surface is really my own fault. I found that the raised project part made for an uneven surface when using a board holder for soldering. I also realized that the little part sections ate up a lot of mat real estate that I never utilized. I'd thought that more was better, but in the end, the style with a flat smooth lower portion with just a few part wells on top worked much better for the kind of electronics soldering work I more routinely do. I gave mine to my wife as she makes jewelry and may find this better for her purposes. If this style of mat is really what you are looking for, you'll find it well made and reliable.

Love this mat. It protects my table top from damage by the soldering iron and chemicals. It has lots fo areas to hold small parts and several of them are magnetized. The things I solder are typically very tiny and I was having issues with constantly dropping parts or having them roll onto the floor. No more with this mat everything stays where I can see it. The mat is price way to clean as well, just wash it off in the sink and you can get rid of all that flux residue, etc. smelled a little funny at first but it was as fine after I let it air out for a couple hours. I may buy another one for the garage.

Good quality, just like the smaller blue silicone mats, but jumbo-ized and with some covered parts pockets. The pocket lids are soft and floppy so may be annoying to some, but they do keep the dust and debris out and they lay back nicely when open so I like them. There are the many non-lidded indentations as well, so you still have those. And you can always cut the lids off the ones that have them if you want to.

Good mat, feels pretty solid, but the alligator clip came broken. I had an extra alligator clip, so I was able to fix it, but for 20 bucks I expected better. The storage compartments for small screws are a nice touch however I wish the workspace was a bit bigger. My ATX motherboard was hanging off the edges, and was wobbly because it had to lay on top of the screw storage compartments. It should be be fine for smaller form factors. I do some soldering from time to time, so I'll keep it for my smaller projects. Overall, it's a good mat.

I bought this for creating fiber optic terminations in the field. Excellent quality, easy to clean, pierce resistant. Lots of spaces for parts. Different size areas for parts. I bought this as something I thought MIGHT be useful. Turns out it's irreplaceable and the main item I use in the field.

It does what its supposed to do. A good thing to have if your into electronics repair or just a hobbyist like me. I used it mainly on soldering works and some minor electronic projects. It helps me organized my work desk as it has compartments for the like of tiny tools, screws and others. Material wise is good so far as it can somehow withstand the heat coming from my soldering iron.

The soldering mat is made of high quality material,its texture is soft,solid and durable.The mat works well and does not even melt even if it touches the soldering iron directly.The holder bays and slots keeps things nice and tidy and prevents from rolling of the workbench.The solder mat helps me to organize my solder works.I am very pleased.

I should have bought one of these a long time ago. In addition to the heat resistance and static grounding that you’d expect, you’re going to find all these divots, magnets, and boxes molded into the pad much more useful than you’d expect. Those little SMD components are hard to keep track of and they love to go flying across the room at the slightest touch. This really helps with that problem. I put my cut off component leads in one of the “part boxes” to use for prototype board solder traces. Definitely get one of these if you use hot air because other things like cutting mats etc will warp instantly when exposed to heat.

Toca valorar esta alfombrilla de silicona, la cual muchos limitan su uso a trabajos de electronica, lo cual en mi opinión es un error, ya que son unas alfombras de una grandisima utilidad para infinidad de manualidades, de hecho yo es la tercera que tengo, y a cada una le estoy dando un uso diferente. Por supuesto la primera la pille para mis chapucillas de electronica, pero me gusto tanto la calidad que no tardé en egenciarme otra, pero en ese caso totalmente plana y sin departamentos para el mezclado y el secado de chapucillas que hago con epoxi, para lo que también es perfecta por que da igual que te caiga una gota que un baso de resina, al secar retuerces la alfombrilla y el epoxi despega de manera perfecta. Y esta última que me ha llegado ya tiene trabajo asignado también, esta va para un rinconcito de mi taller que dedico al montaje y mantenimiento de mis coches de RC, tarea para la que como no, también resulta perfecta con tanto departamento y rinconcito con utilidad. Y en este caso la alfombrilla tiene una superficie de 450x300mm, es de tamaño medio, hay cada uno vera la superficie con la que cuenta y el consejo es por supuesto, buscar la alfombra lo más grande posible. Cuenta con un montón de departamentos organizadores, desde uno para colocar destornilladores de precisión en vertical u horizontal, hasta organizadores de tornillos numerados. Muy importante también tres pequeños cajoncitos con tapa que tiene, perfectos para piezas o tornillos que necesitan una gran protección. De lo mejor son las zonas que cuentan con imanes, tornillo que poses ahi, tornillo que es imposible perder. Y digna de mención y super util también la regla que lleva sobreimpresionada en su parte inferior. La vedad que si te pones a contar todas las utilidades que le dan a estas alfombras hay que escribir un best seller. Comentar que por supuesto para tareas de soldadura y demás indica una resistencia de 500°, cosa que no he verificado, pero ya te digo que una gota de estaño no le hace ni cosquillas. De vez en cuando la puedes limpiar con agua y lavavajillas normal y queda como nueva, eso si, presta especial atención al secado de las zonas con iman por que se oxidan. En fin, como he dicho antes, sin limitarse a trabajos de electronica, si tu manualidad preferida incluye trabajos con calor, o piezas pequeñas, o pegamentos de cualquier tipo, aqui tienes la mejor protección que puedes usar para tu mesa de trabajo, no lo dudes, una gran compra.

J'avais déjà un tapis de soudure mais celui-ci est plus grand (45x30 cm) et dispose de parties magnétique pour y déposer les petites pièces métalliques, histoire de ne pas les perdre et avoir de mauvaises surprise au remontage d'un téléphone par exemple. Résistant à des températures jusqu'à 500°C, il est très pratique lors des sessions de soudures. Dispose de rangements énumérés, pratique pour ranger les pièces dans l'ordre de démontage, dispose aussi d'une règle pour mesurer et les différentes parties sont nommées pour y ranger vos outils. Vous avez 3 compartiments qui se referment, pratique si vous faire une réparation sur plusieurs jours et ainsi garder en lieu sûr les pièces. La couleur bleue permet d'identifier l'ensemble des pièces sur le tapis rapidement. Je suis très satisfait de ce produit.

For me this is beyond brilliant. It's better than I imagined. The only thing is the flaps on the small compartments. I find them not good but I do not need them at all. The product as said for me is brilliant. Does as it says it should do and holds all of my small screws etc with ease. I may buy another actually.

✅ Also die Lötmatte habe ich mal bis 500Grad Hitzbeständigkwit getestet und in der Tat hält sie dieser Temperatur stand. Mehr wollte ich nicht in Erfahrung bringen und erst recht nicht die Lötmatte bereits am ersten Tag der Zustellung vor einigen Wochen ruinieren. ✅ Auch nach einigen Wochen Nutzung haben die aufklappbaren Döschen der Matte keine Risse an den dünnen Verbindungspunkten, die danei ständig gebogen und beansprucht werden. 🤷‍♂️ Ansonsten eine Lötmatte wie jede andere auch schätze ich. Nur das ich bei dieser sicher weiss, dass sie entsprechend hitzebeständig ist und das sie nicht nach einigen Wochen bereits die Dosendeckel verliert. ⏩⏩⏩ FAZIT ⏪⏪⏪ 🤩 5 STERNE 🤩 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
