MioHHR Compatible for Google Pixel Watch 3/2 / 1 Band, Stainless Steel Case with Wristband Strap for Men Women

This case really upgraded the look of my Pixel Watch 2 and I'm frequently asked what kind of watch I'm wearing or getting compliments, neither of which I was looking for or expecting. The metal case is very protective and it was easy to add a thin plastic film to make it even more protected and scratch free. Plus no more clouded watch face from trapped moisture when I wear it in the shower as happened with my old PVC case with the built-in see through plastic face cover.

Going into this I was a little confused at how the watch body fit into this band. But there's a TPU layer under all the metal that lets it snap in with surprising ease. It protects the watch with a metal and tpu layers this way, and I can't see why it wouldn't be effective at doing so. It's about as heavy as you would expect from an all-metal band. It has a reassuring weight on the wrist that I would expect from an all-metal band. The band itself is easy enough to adjust with the provided tools. I have a big wrist and it was oversized out of the box. Knocking out three links kept it loose enough for comfort while keeping it tight enough for heartrate detection. I bought the black version. From the pictures I wasn't sure if I would like the shinier metal around the watchface. In person it looks pretty good. I wear it largely for sleep detection and it's comfortable enough to sleep in but for that sort of thing your mileage will always vary. if you're used to metal watches on your wrist, this band is the closest I've gotten to feeling like I have a proper watch on my wrist again. it doesn't look haf bad either.

In the end, I can't wear the watch because it doesn't fit. Removing 3 links leaves it too big, removing 4 leaves it too loose. But the major dissatisfaction is the terrible installation instructions. After you remove the pins to take out links, you need to reinsert a pin between 2 links. The directions state that to do so, you need to modify the tool provide "Change the thin tool needle with a thicker needle..." Except there is no thicker needle provided. But that's OK because the guide also says "Anything confused about (sic) the installation watch our video in product 's (sic) details page." I have no idea what a details page is and I could not find it or a video. So there's that. If you decide to buy this (it does look nice and fits my Pixel Watch 2), here is how I was able to get the pin in. The missing thicker needle would allow you to press the pin in through 2 links, going in the opposite direction that it came out. I was able to push it in with one of the links I removed. You could also use a coin. With a little bit a pressure, you'll feel it pop in and you should feel confident it will stay.

I'm very happy with this watch band/case. It comes with tools to add/remove links which I used rather than breaking out my watch repair kit. There's no fine adjustment, just add/remove links, but that's true of the other equivalent bands. The claimed weight is higher than the other bands on Amazon but this one is comfortable and seems very well made. The pocket for the watch fits great and is very protective. I got the gray band and it's a little different than the pictures. The pictures show a case and band that are all matte gray but on mine the outer rows of the links in the band are matte gray but the inner row of the links and the case are highly polished gray and so can appear either lighter or darker than the outer row, depending on the light. The face of the bezel is more silvery with a bit of a rough finish. I think that the band I received looks much cooler than the pictures.

This is my second product because I thought maybe the first was just too tight so I asked for a replacement but the pixel watch 2 does not properly fit into this band. There's a rubber inside that helps to protect the pixel watch, but it's too tight and every time I try to install it the rubber slides up with the watch making it not fit and pushing part of the rubber out which blocks the watch. Seller has no contact information or anything so I can't get any support either. UPDATE: I eventually figured out that if I take the screws out of the band and disconnect it from the protective face, I can take the rubber out and fit it onto my pixel watch 2. Then screw the entire thing back into the watch, but this means I can't easily take the watch in and it of this band. The band itself looks GREAT, the installation and flexibility of changing the band is terrible though. Also, none of these instructions on how to "hard install" the watch were indicated anywhere :/
