What i wish I started with
I have had 3 dash cams in my life. This being the last version and I wish I would have started with this. I have had zero issues after 6 months. Installation was simple and easy (but to be fair after me dealing with dashcam installations I wasn't a newb). Video and audio quality is clear. Operation is simple. I opted for the hardwire and it was simple. 3 channels is what I believe gives you the best overall protection front back and interior. The provided 3m tape is rock solid and holds the dash cam without issues 15*F-110*F. This is not a cheap dash cam. But I spent way more in time, and money dealing with two others that drove me nuts with software issues, hardware issues, connectivity issues, warranty claims, etc. I just wanted a product that worked as claimed. I still am not used to all its features as I dont really need or want all of them so I am not 100% confident is navigating all the options but it does everything I need it to do. Overall its pricey but its worth it when you consider your time and energy having to deal with problems like you would with others.

High Quality Unit with a Display That Allows Quick Access to Captures
Works very well and provides high quality pictures/video. When on the sensitive setting, there is little likelihood that any relevant event will be lost although some normal motions of the vehicle will also be captured. Easy to use and the cost is justified by the quality of the captured pictures/video. With its built-in display, this unit does not require extra cost services to retrieve or see what has been captured.

Good Cameras and Good Customer Service
The three channels provide pretty good coverage of the front, interior, and rear. There are some blind spots, but the 3 channels cover most of a dashcam's daily needs. The video quality is good, and the framerate is also good. The app connectivity works relatively well, though the UI can be buggy at times. One caveat is that the cameras get very hot, which is expected given their high resolution and framerate. The customer service was very helpful and friendly, given I had a problem with the hardwiring kit. Hardwiring the camera was not too difficult either.

Fast easy installation. Seems to work well
We chose to try out a new dash cam to replace a previously purchased unit from another manufacturer that did not like be connected to our truck power all the time. It apparently kills the batteryy and the battery is not replaceable. And that unit would not maintain the current time and date. This unit was easy to install and is highly rated. There are two things I do wish the company would address though. First, the screen does not stay on all the time. It has a screen saver that basically turns the screen off after a few minutes. So while it does have red led's telling you it is on, I prefer to see an active screen. Secondly, I think the screen is to dark. I see no controls to adjust the brightness of the screen. So when mounted to the windshield with the daylight coming in behind the unit, my eyes adjust to the light coming through the window and the little darker screen on the unit is nearly unreadable to me. But overall, so far at least, I like the unit. The interior camera works very well providing a wide angle of view spreading from driver's side window all the way across to the passenger door window. I purchased the hardwire kit and it was a breeze to install. i really like this unit so far and even though it is new, I am rating it a 9 out of 10, with only the two issues mentioned above as keeping it from receiving a 10.

Excellent VIOFO support and now an excellent dash camera
Update: Adding two stars. A subsequently purchased replacement unit fixed the impact issue and is now 100% functional. The very responsive VIOFO Support noted that some users were having GPS issues when using non-VIOFO SSD cabling. Even though the same non VIOFO SSD cable worked well with an identical type A329S unit in a 2014 Honda Accord, I purchased the too-short for my purpose- VIOFO 2.8m SSD cable and added a non VIOFO 2' Gen 2, 4k extension cable to get the 10' length I needed. Replacing this cable fixed my GPS issues and it now locks onto GPS reliably. VIOFO recently updated their Android app and it is a large improvement. I now have 100% reliable app access to either of my three VIOFO dash cameras 100% of the time, as long as I disable the VPN on my phone first. Also the geo-fencing seems to be working great with the A329s' and I no longer have to manually manage the parking mode. Great addition! Original: This was installed in a 2015 RAM 2500 diesel, extended cab, 4WD truck using the VIOFO optional HK6 wiring to a 70mai auxiliary battery pack for parking mode use, along with a SanDisk Extreme Portable 1TB SSD, VIOFO 512GB SD card and their Bluetooth button. All of the components seems to be high quality with the only installation issues being with routing the cables in my truck behind the body panels/components- which would be typical of most dash camera vehicle installations. I found the impact sensor to be non-functional when parked with both camera impact sensitivity settings set on their most sensitive settings. I used a large rubber mallet and my closed fist to pound on the windshield by the front camera, on the front bumper, on the tailgate and rear bumper with no camera impact detected. I also found the GPS non-functional. I have multiple GPS supported units installed inside my truck, with none of them having any GPS signal issues. So the issue is with the VIOFO unit. I then went on an extended driving day trip with the truck and the GPS failed to work at any point. While driving at Interstate speeds, I hit a couple bad spots in the pavement- bad enough to make my heavy diesel truck jump around in its lane a disconcerting amount, and this did trigger the impact sensor and lock the video(s). So the impact sensor did work- but had poor sensitivity- parked or driving. I had excellent email response from VIOFO- apparently from China, even supplying me with an unpublished firmware, which did not help. VIOFO also offered to replace the front camera/GPS mount, but I elected to return the whole kit to Amazon due to their 30 day return window vs. the shipping time for individual parts replacement from VIOFO. Had I been offered a replacement unit for the return, I would have selected that option instead of the refund.

Not Starting Off Well
————-Update————- My camera is now working as expected but my experience with Viofo support was less than optimal. When I called I got a voice in the US they then gave me a WhatsApp number to contact. After 2 techs they never got it right. They kept saying my cables were wrong and accused me of using Non-Viofo cables. I had bought the cam and all their accessories, including the Hk6 and a 6ft shielded SSD cable. While going back and forth with support about the cables, I purchased a new Viofo SSD cable. Replacing the SSD cable did the trick. The support left me wishing I had researched support and not just features. The A329S is a fairly expensive purchase for most, I felt I was going to be left holding the bag. My final impressions: I would have paid a few more dollars for Viofo to package the same Starvis 2 IMx678 for the back camera as the front. I love all the features except I’m not sure the SSD supports is all there yet and the price of SSD’s is an the stratosphere thanks to ai. I would not buy the brand again if I knew their primary support was in china. The Communications are the worst and support just didn’t understand basic communication. Spent 2 days arguing about what was connected where. ——————-Update—————- My unit has stopped working after just 7 weeks. I use the SSD option. When I unplug the viofo SSD cable the camera shuts down and will not power back up. The SSD works great connected to my pc. I opened a case with tech support and they want to play it mail tag. They requested a video and sent me a link to upload it. The link only accepts files and the iPhone gives you an iCloud link. The camera and all the Viofo components, like cables, memory, filters, etc the price of Viofo parts came to almost $800. I will updated the review if tech support helps. I’ve talked with two techs and their answer is, I never have seen that before. They need to remember their customer spent a good chunk of money to buy the best. The A329S is supposed to be the best.

This product meets/exceeds expectations!
This is my first webcam. It was not very difficult to install in my ‘21 RV4. I purchased the 512k SD card and it appears to be working flawlessly. Downloads are easy. From the driver’s seat the main unit is hidden by the rear view mirror. I installed the fisheye cam directly above said mirror rather than the windshield. The adhesive on the fisheye does not work well in the heat after a few days in this location. I will probably be relocating the interior camera because of this. Images have been excellent! I’m so glad I pulled the trigger and splurged on this unit!

Not worth the price
I have a loving and hate relationship with this camera. I got this after my car got vandalized last December and mainly got it because of the fisheye cabin camera and the new parking modes available, but to be honest this camera lacks a lot in quality, it can't take 80F temperature before shutting off the camera in parking mode, that's just ridiculous in my opinion for a dashcam that costs more than $500, they have this problem with all their dashcams as I had a A229 Pro prior and encountered exactly the same issue with the heat disipador. I have opened a ticket and they keep telling me that's not "normal" and the installation might not be correct, well I have checked the installation 10x and I only have problem with the parking mode when it is hotter than 80F outside, so I don't think it is the installation at all and they should take responsibility for not having a better way to deal with the heat. The camera quality however is very good and clear, the battery saving park mode option is also great, but their app SUCKS! It is pure garbage and unreliable. For the price point I was expecting a lot more from this dashcam.

The Dashcam is rated highly, but needs more instructions or markings with the wiring.
This product is a very good functional dashcam with a few short comings in detail that will support the novice when installing.

This camera offers even more than I expected!
This dash cam completely exceeded my expectations. It’s rare for me to buy something on Amazon that makes me feel like 5 stars aren’t enough. I was truly impressed by the material quality, the ease of use, and the overall performance. The new software V2.0 is on another level as well! Well done, VIOFO — keep making great products!
