Review: Great Pump! - I installed this pump to get the remainder of the water out of my bilge (my main pump is big so it leaves some water behind after the float switch has settled). Boy does this thing do the trick! I have it mounted in the lowest possible position in the bilge but every now and then there won't be enough water to prime it but when there is this little pump sucks until the bilge is bone dry!

I installed this pump to get the remainder of the water out of my bilge (my main pump is big so it leaves some water behind after the float switch has settled). Boy does this thing do the trick! I have it mounted in the lowest possible position in the bilge but every now and then there won't be enough water to prime it but when there is this little pump sucks until the bilge is bone dry!

Pump works good. It's compact, quiet, and moves alot of water fast. The only negative appears to be it will not self prime. It has to be already submerged before it will move water, or, you have to manually prime it.
