These adapters allow you to use existing manifold gauges for R134a on a system using r1234yf. R134a is an older refrigerant and found in many cars over the last two decade, so my current gauge set uses connectors for that refrigerant. Now, family members have some newer cars requiring r1234yf. Of course the quick connectors are not interchangeable. But with this kit, these connect to the r1234yf systm and you can use use your "old" hoses and gauges. Attach the adapters first to your gauges (male end), and then the adapters to the refrigerant line (female end). These are robust and well made, and a good value over having to puchase another complete gauge set.

The high pressure fitting does not allow any freon. To go into my gages that tell what the high pressure settings are. This product is worthless on my 2020 mustang.G t also I plugged it into my 2025 F150, and the same thing happens. It doesn't fit the unit. It will not allow the gages to register the high pressure side. I can put it on the unit without it connected to my gauge set.

Needed these for the new Freon r1234 they work great
