Much better than Squires sugar florist paste. Very smooth and easy to work with. Would definitely buy again.

Not so good quality
Unfortunately I am having to modify my review, everything below is very true about this product except for the one important thing, it does not harden like other sugar pastes which is ok if you only want to cover a cak or make flat flowers, but absolutely no good for making roses (the realistic kind). It very quickly went out of shape and started to fall apart after a couple of hours, unfortunately there was not enough of it holding together to take a picture. Suffice to say I will be going back to my old stuff. 😔 This product is great for modelling, was pliable with very little effort. I bought the white as I like to make my own colours and found it absorbs well and not as sticky as the old stuff I used to use so I’m not having to use lots of icing sugar for dusting which also means it doesn’t lighten the colour I’m trying to get. I will definitely buy this again! 😊

The modelling paste to end all other modelling pastes!
This modelling paste by Saracino is the only paste I will now use. It is so pliable and easy to work with. It doesn’t dry out too quickly and I have not experienced cracking or elephant skin. It also has a lovely flavour. It arrives feeling as hard as stone but after a while at room temperature and then a good minute kneading, you get the most amazing product to work with. I have included a photo of the figures I made for my Grandaughter’s bday cake. I used gel colours by Squires to colour the paste. I am not a professional cake maker and only make the occasional cake for family and friends and yet this product has helped me make my cakes look really good. I would recommend Saracino products to anyone both home baker and professional alike.
