Surprisingly not just unflavored carbonated water. There would be enough flavoring that it gives off the gist of some means of a carbonated drink which was and is oddly satisfying. It may not taste much like Cola though, but at the very least there is some flavoring which makes it tolerable and even enjoyable without the excessive calories that the standard soft drink would have. Please refrigerate to get that extremely refreshing means of carbonation. For a healthier alternative to soft drinks for only 10 calories it would be quite a decent alternative. Color me impressed for such alternatives often are just flavorless carbonated fluids which this was not. It still gives off the refreshing gist of a drink with an obvious means of carbonation. Glad that I took the chance in purchasing for it would very much likely become more alike a repetitive purchase within time.

These are so good. I love that they do not have a ton of sugar even though you would never be able to tell that they don't. I also am much happier giving these to my kids over sugary soda drinks and I think they like these better anyways. The value is amazing considering the cleaner ingredients and flavor is superb. I tried other like no sugar soda type drinks, and they tasted like chalk to me but these do not. They also don't taste like water with a drop of flavor, like I forget I am not drinking actual soda sometimes. There are definitely worth it if you are wanting to try something new or trying to lower sugar in drinks or trying to cut out soda more.

This was the first flavor of liquid death I tried a year ago. I was hooked from the first taste. It is very refreshing and did a great job on my thirst. I have tried many of their different flavor options. I keep coming back to this one. Everyone has their favorite and this one is mine.
