I’ve had the Lasko Oscillating Tower Fan (Model T42951) for almost two years, and let me tell you — I love this damn thing. In fact, I ended up buying two because the first one impressed me so much. Quiet, Powerful, and Reliable This fan moves air like it’s got something to prove. Even on the higher settings, it stays surprisingly quiet — perfect for sleeping. I run mine every night, and it still hums smoothly without rattling, grinding, or doing that “I’m old and tired” noise cheaper fans make after a few months. Oscillation Is Smooth The oscillation is clean and consistent. No jerky movements, no clicking, no weird noises. It spreads airflow evenly across the room, which makes a huge difference in keeping the whole space comfortable. Remote Control = Convenience The remote is simple, responsive, and works from across the room. I use it constantly at night to adjust speed or turn the fan off without getting up. Built to Last A lot of tower fans give up after a year — dust, noise, motor strain, you name it. Not this one. I’ve kept mine clean and maintained, and it’s rewarded me by running like new. For the price, the durability is honestly impressive. Looks Good in Any Room The silver finish and slim design make it look modern and clean. It doesn’t take up much space, and it blends in instead of sticking out like an eyesore. Bottom Line If you want a quiet, dependable, long‑lasting tower fan, this is the one. After two years of daily use, I’m still proud of it — proud enough that I bought a second one. Lasko did this one right.

Desde hace trece años tengo un calefactor lasko sin que presente problemas. De ahí mi elección por esta marca. Es muy sencillo armar el pedestal y ya ensamblado el ventilador alcanza algo más de un metro de altura. Funciona bien. En el primer nivel de intensidad percibes bien la ráfaga a dos metros de distancia y a tres metros ya se siente menos, pero aún es notoria. El material es bueno, porque no requieres más. Un material más robusto lo haría pesado y ello impactaría en el consumo de energía. La abertura de ventilación cubre, aproximadamente, un sesenta por ciento de la altura del ventilador, pero sí expele aire por toda la ranura. He visto ventiladores que no lo hacen así. Creo que le falta rango de cobertura en el giro; de los 180° que corresponden al frente (ningún ventilador los cubre), abarca 60°; pero es una apreciación personal y puede no compratirla mucha gente. Agradezco que es ligero y más lo agradecerán usuarios de la tercera edad o personas que no puedan cargar objetos pesados. Su volumen no es muy estrecho, pero ese factor ya es algo que puede afectar de formas muy puntuales. Los controles proyectan muy poca luz, así que no es incómodo ni distractor (incluyo imágen); hace ruido, como todos, pero no es desagradable, ni siquiera en la mayor intensidad. Puntos específicos: - NO ES IONIZADOR - INCLUYE CONTROL REMOTO - POSEE TRES NIVELES DE INTENSIDAD - APAGADO AUTOMÁTICO: 30 min. - 7.5 hs. Me costó dos mil pesos y pude haberlo comprado por mil setecientos cuando estábamos en los frios invernales. Se irán encareciendo estos aparatos desde ahora.

This is the best thing happened to me. Being for Asia I was missing the felling of fresh breeze on your face when you lie down under a fan. To my surprise this tower fancies exactly the same thing as a ceiling fan. It is not noisy but you get used to it once you have it. This was very easy to assemble and light weight to move around the house. The remote works perfectly and it has 3 speeds which makes it easier to use as per the weather. It is very sturdy though lightweight. Best fan ever and once you feel the cool breeze of this fan you cannot live without it.

This cools my bedroom perfectly! I am currently living in a dorm-like building, so certain rooms receive adequate AC and some (like my room) do not. I suffered through the last couple years and finally broke down and bought a tower fan to use. I now use it almost daily and don't know how I ever dealt with the heat without it. Particularly in the evenings, it is really nice to not wake up sweating or have really restless sleep due to discomfort. The fan itself works amazingly well! I typically use the high setting right now (it is summer), but I'm sure the medium and low settings will be nice for the Fall. The fan also has a sleep timer which is awesome. I have used it a couple times but, since the fan turning off made my room hot again and woke me up, I am mostly just leaving the fan running all night. Again it will probably be nice when the weather is a bit cooler. It is a relatively quiet fan, so I sleep through it with no problem. There is an ionizer setting, though I haven't really used that much and don't know how to really judge whether that works well or not (I've never had one before). Finally, probably one of my favorite features is the remote control! I keep my fan on the wall furthest from my bed, so it is nice to be able to use a remote when I want to change settings rather than having to get up and walk across the room to mess with it. The remote can also be used to choose whether the fan is oscillating or not, so I often use the remote to line up the stream of air where I want it to be (sometimes I want it directly on me and sometimes I prefer it pointing somewhere else). Overall, a great product for a great price. 5-stars, for sure!
