The kettle feels well made and of good quality. It is stylish and fits in well with our modern kitchen. It is only 1.25 litres, plenty for three mugs, however it boils quickly so making multiple drinks is not really a problem. It is well balanced when pouring and pours without splashing even when on the boil. The metal lid fits snugly and when removed there is plenty of room around the handle to fill direct from the tap. The mesh filter is also readily accessible for cleaning. It weighs around 945g when empty and around 2.25kg when filled to the max level, the metal handle feels sturdy and secure with plenty of room to get a firm grip. All in all a great buy.

Nice kettle but lid mechanism simply doesnt work. Have to press the button multiple times to get lid to open. Appalling for what is meant to be a premium product and will be returning for a full refund! I now have to go through the inconvenience of returning and sourcing a replacement, very poor!

Smaller than expected but still a great quality kettle

Designed for trendiness rather than practicality. Not a big kettle capacity wise. Hard to see when water hits fill point inside. - but looks lovely.

Beautiful kettle goes on for years temperature of the water is as it should be for making tea and coffee. This Black kettle is a replacement for the same kettle and trust me it is used a lot !! Matches my items in the kitchen without being overpowering such a timeless style with a good pour. Low noise unless it needs descaling! Everything l wanted for the money good value all round.

Bought end of last year. I first used this kettle in an ABnB during a trip, and it resolve a huge sore point I’ve been struggling with: my previous full stainless steel kettles have pull out lids and side handle, which make opening the lid so difficult and dangerous when opening for refilling right after emptying boiled water. I can’t find any button opening kettle without obvious design with plastics contacting with boiled water. This Kitchen Aid kettle has top handle, which makes opening a hot lid as easy and safely controllable by a grip pulling the lid to the handle. And the lid is not as hot like my previous kettles so it’s easy to hold the lid handle with bear hand even water is just boiled. But I missed out that the nozzle filter is plastic. There’s no info if the plastic is BPA and forever plastic free. (Or I’ve yet to find out?) This makes me hesitate even using any acid like citric acid to clear limescale (the plastic filter is also blocked by limescale. Overall it’s great to use, only except the plastic part. At this price, I hope Kitchen Aid can change this to stainless filter and stainless holder. Or even it doesn’t need to be a web type of filter and just a metal grid will block bugs crawling in, or a just loose flappy lid at the end of nozzle. Anyway just found another Zxxxling kettle at similar or lower price (without temperature control, basic version as this kettle) with full seamless stainless steel internals that contact with water, and button opening lid. Will see how that goes.

This is a great little kettle, ideal for up to 3 mugs of Tea/Coffee. No overfilling and wasting water that you don’t need to boil. Highly Recommend!

Very first, placed order for onyx black.. received red. Returning to exchange in this pandemic and lockdown is a pain... so decided to keep it! Design is good, but practically pouring water is little difficult, the handle is an obstruction.
