Great introductory height channels!
Overview:For the price, these are really solid height channels that add the ability to hear Atmos effects. The way I have them set up as upfiring drivers with relatively low basement ceilings, they serve their purpose well.Height effect:The height effect they produce feels more like sound is coming from above my display rather than directly above me, but with some use, you get used to perceiving where the sound “should be coming from.”Overall:I think these would work much better supported by a tweeter as well to separate the upper and high mid-range and make height effects slightly more dynamic instead of one note. However, I understand the constraints given the price of the unit.Overall, for the price, as an introduction to Atmos, these speakers do a spectacular job at a relatively low price point.
