12V Landscape Well Lights, Shield Top, 3000K Warm White, 1 Pack

Just what I needed. Not too bright, not too dim... A nice warm but bright light to illuminate my steps and retaining wall without spilling light onto my deck, thanks to the half dome top. They are fairly large in size but when buried at ground level they blend into the landscape.

I knew nothing of this brand prior to a few weeks ago. Since then I've had the pleasure of using several of their low voltage lights - spot, path, and well lights - and I've been really impressed with all of them. The value proposition is good. They're built well and they're relatively inexpensive. The color temperature is a nice warm white probably around the 2700K range. I really like how the well lights from Varmtalys are all identical except for the top lens area. This one has the quarter-sphere shroud that directs light horizontally, and a frosted lens to slightly diffuse the light. They offer at least three other well light models that I own and use, including well lights with 1) no anti-glare shroud or grate, 2) an anti-glare grate, and 3) an anti-glare vertical shroud. One thing to keep in mind with this well light is that the bulb is not replaceable. Once the LED bulb goes bad, it will be time to replace the entire unit. Hopefully the LED will last several years, so it's not like you'll be digging this thing up every year. That's likely part of the reason this is less expensive than some other brands that may offer a replaceable bulb with a lifetime warranty on the bulb - so you can easily replace just the bulb without digging up the light. Lifetime warranty on a replaceable LED is nice, but it does come at a price. This is another great light from Varmtalys that I've integrated into my existing low voltage lighting system.

I went through two of these is less than 6 months. The light will just stop working.

I own mostly the outdoor light fixtures sold at the big box stores. They all fail after few year of exposure to the elements. I really like the build quality on these. The aluminum housing makes them stand up to being stepped on by accident in a landscape bed. The light output is very bright and very wide. I do find the light to be a bit too bright for use around trees and outdoor statues. The light looks more like a spotlight in those scenarios.

This well designed and manufactured in-ground mounted landscape light fixture is a welcome addition to our landscape lighting system. It enables me to light up a section of a wall without flooding the entire area around it on either side or above it. If it did not have this feature from the location where I am placing it would also shine into our dining room windows. And since it is mounted down in the ground it does not stick up above the ground in an obvious fashion. Boasting 6 watts of warm white light it creates a very brightly lit area. It makes for an excellent controlled light source. The all metal lamp unit is contained in a plastic outer "junction box" with knockout holes in its bottom to allow the ample (3 foot) lead wiring to extend and connect to my landscape lighting circuit main line. Dual "O" rings around the lamp unit seal water out of the lower box. I use hot melt glue to seal up the cracks around the other knockouts on each side and exit my wire through the bottom knockout opening as additional preventative measures to avoid potential moisture intrusion. And, unlike most other landscape lighting fixtures, the seller offers a 5 year replacement warranty. Plus this package includes a pair of wiring connectors to clamp onto your main wire. However I choose to use gel filled wire nuts as additional protection from moisture intrusion into my electrical connections.

I've just unpacked these ground lights, and I must say, I'm impressed with their quality. The orb design provides a unique and stylish look to my outdoor space. The LED bulbs are energy-efficient and provide a bright 420LM light output. The low voltage system is child and pet-friendly, providing maximum safety. The IP67 waterproof rating ensures that these lights can withstand any weather conditions. The aluminum material is robust and provides excellent heat dissipation. The installation process was straightforward, and the lights come with a 6-feet pre-wired lead for quick and easy installation. I attached to my existing 12V transformer (not included). I The package includes a fixture, a bulb, a 6ft pre-wired lead, and two connectors for quick cable connection. A 1-year warranty, ensuring quality and reliability. I highly recommend the Landscape Well Lights,

I like everything about these Varmtalys Landscape Well Lights. I own 3 different variations of these lights. The base unit is the same on all these, but the light effect or angle varies. These lights are bright, low wattage LED and easy to place and set up. They have a wire length of about 2 to 3 feet making them easy to position and attach to my main transformers wire run. These lights scream high quality, and while there are less expensive landscape light options, I feel these are top tier in terms of quality and likely longevity.

This light easily integrated into our existing low voltage system and the light temperature matched our existing lights perfectly. We wanted to light up a small statue without having the glare of the light itself; this light worked perfectly. The statue really pops at night without that glare… it is like the statue itself is glowing. Because it is low to the ground it doesn’t matter to us that the housing/finish matches our other lights perfectly, but it wound up matching pretty good. We like everything about it. I hope this helps
