QNAP NASのバックアップHDDとして購入しました。問題なく使用出来ています。

M1 Max搭載のMacbook Proを使用しての20Tから26Tへのコピー作業中。 R/W速度ってこんなもんなのかしら? それともケーブル??

2026/3/31追記 殻を割って中身のHDDを取り出し、別メーカー（玄人志向）のケースを別途購入し、 その中に入れて使用しました。 そしたら嘘みたいにエラーが発生しなくなりました。 このことより、USB-SATAの部分に何らかの問題があるものと思われます。 同様のことが発生した場合、別途ケースを購入して使ってみることをおすすめします。 ※更に追記 HDDの中に、最初からEFIパーティションが作成されています。 PCに挿しっぱなしでPCの電源をONにしたときに、起動エラーの原因となるため EFIパーティションを予め削除しておくことをお勧めします 削除方法はChatGPTあたりに聞けば何とかなります ------------- 26TBを2台買いました。 そのうち17TB程、データ移行のために片方に書き込みを実施しました。 (旧HDD ⇒ 26TB①) 問題はそれを更にもう1台にコピーしている時ですが、HDDからの読み取り時に頻繁にエラーが発生します。 そしてエラーを繰り返した後にUSBから認識されなくなります。 (26TB①⇒26TB②) ①と②を逆にしても読み込み側にてエラーが発生するので、機器のハズレ云々ではなく 製品として何かしら欠陥がある様に思えます 恐らくですが、多少のデータの読み込みであれば問題は無いのでしょうが、 連続で多くのデータを読み込むとエラーが発生する模様。 なお、旧HDDはWD製ですが、この様なエラーは17TBのコピー中に一切発生しませんでした。 SMARTで見ると、温度が60℃近くまで上がる様ですが、 これが原因の一つかもしれません。 ちなみにこのコメントが3月であり、暖房も付けない状態です。

the disk was right away making tons of loud constant clicking sounds or fast rotating ones like a very loud clock ticking constantly. Seagate adviced me to send it back as its not supposed to make such loud noices
