Easy to install and well made . I like the option of having it being able to open in case of an emergency or keeping it locked in place. The window stoppers are an added bonus of security. ..just be aware that it doesn't come with a quick release pin if you intend to use this an egress

The Grisham PP SPAG Window Security Bars with Quick-Release Egress are just what I needed to secure two windows. The built quility is good and creates an extra layer of defence. The are pricy but they are a good choice for the money. They come in different sizes to fit most windows. They attach with screws (not like some cheap ones that need strong adhesive to attach). These are overall very functional and easy to install.

There were very few options for fire escape window security bars that mount inside a window frame and swing open. This one gives you the option to mount inside the frame or on the outside of the frame. Of note there is no lock or securing mechanism for the door to stay in the frame you need a lock or something else to secure them. I got the five bar option and my window is 31 inches tall, I hung a few inches off the bottom and the top somewhere in the middle. My boyfriend said it’s possible a really skinny person could try to slide underneath 🫤 so maybe some more measuring when ordering to factor someone going above or below the bars. Installation wasn’t complicated but we needed a metal drill bit for the window frame and different screws. The ones that came with worked on a few holes but didn’t on others and got stripped right away so it was good we picked up some sheet metal screws. All in all this is perfect for my apt window for security and peace of mind. It seems solid and installed the way I needed it. Priced moderately at $60 I think it’s good value for a solid security bar and not as ridiculously priced as something custom especially if I decide to leave it behind when I move.

I based this on security issues, the metal is cheap and thin I would have no problem busting through it. Disappointed for 66 dollars. If you use it just to keep kids inside then it works fine, but it won't stop a strong burglar.
