Did tests at home with solubles and burn tests. Visually, this is not pure, you can see patterns matching those seen commonly in industrial resin made in India, not to be confused with Indonesia. This is clearly very adulterated, and bastardized product and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't even have any draco in it The smell out of the box is perfumated, not the smell of natural draco. When burned it is an atrocious, plastic, wood smell, with a hint of perfumation. The price is good, but evidently, it was too good to be true. I dissolved some powder in a little DMSO (see image) and the color was neon red and smelled too perfumish, unlike real draco which has a sweet earthy scent with a small spice hint to it and the color is dark blood red. It is not to be consumed. It would be toxic. I don't doubt inhalation would also be toxic. Your money would definitely be better used on real draco than this bastardized bs. Amazon needs to step up their game as people can be negatively affected by this. Clearly, this is fake resin, melted, broken, and covered with powder.

Well packed, no dust leakage. Arrived promptly. I gave it a 4 star because some of the chunks were large enough to break only under a hammer. I needed this for beeswax wrap recipe - copal is approved for use around food. Pine resin is not.

They are large pieces, and I have yet to take Them out of the box! I am very happy with that! I may or may not like them. I may place them around my home!

Amazing aroma

Previously purchased this resin in a smaller size and was impressed with its quality and scent. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to upgrade to the 1 lb size. However, upon receiving it, I decided to weigh the contents to ensure I received the full amount. Unfortunately, the weight was less than expected. I believe it's crucial for manufacturers and packagers to prioritize accuracy when filling products. If there is any discrepancy, it should favor the customer, not leave them shortchanged. This oversight detracts from an otherwise great product, and I hope the supplier addresses this moving forward. The product lost 2 stars due to weight.

Burns good I mix it with my myrhh so I can breathe it in, it helps me to relax and breath better, sleep good too, just gotta find a better burner for it

Very nice fragrance. Just as an aside I've seen copal being sold as amber (not here on Amazon though). Copal is NOT the same thing as amber. Copal is a resin - a young resin whereas amber (ie Baltic amber) is very old/ancient...multiple million of years. This copal has a lovely pine-like fragrant full of the lovely smell of terpines - obviously, because copal is the resin of coniferouS trees. Very nice.

Had to return it, the size of the granules is small and doesn't correspond to the pictures. Might as well be a great product but I was after medium to large granules as shown in the pictures. The small granules are a pain to use.

DRAGONS BLOOD Burns and smells just like electrical wire insulation. Also ended up brown, not red, once melting/burned. Shame.. Frankincense seems GOOD but not all dry yet. Update. Compared with other frankincense, Maybe it's dusted with some real stuff.
