BG 44K Fuel System Cleaner

Best stuff. My old local racing specializing auto garage used and recommended BG products. New town, the (big) local dealership really likes using BG products too. Even the 'advisor' or whatever they are highly recommends them, especially the 44k, talking it up the last time I was in there. Recommended using it after each oil change, or as often as oil changes anyway. I use it in concert with Ethanol Shield to TRULY absorb and burn off water in fuel system, then the 44K to clean any results of that. Have solved rough running issues that couldn't be figured out that way!

I was recommended this product because I had my caddy diagnosed with excessive carbon buildup & my check engine light was on. I was told to do 2 tankfuls & then have the oil changed because this is a very aggressive cleaner. My caddy is a 2007 with 205,000 miles. Not only is the light still off - but mileage improved by at least 3 MPG. I got a 35.4 reading which is a new high. Throttle response is notably more responsive - great increase in performance

We bought this for my daughter's 1998 Jeep Wrangler. The jeep is in great condition with only 67,000 miles. For some reason it had a slight lag when cold starting. We had it checked out by our mechanic and found everything was working as it should. He recommended we try BG 44K Fuel System Cleaner and he swore by its results. We tried it and found it resolved the lag when cold starting. The Jeep drives smoother and its getting slightly better gas mileage. I plan to use this stuff a couple times a year. Well worth the money! It arrived completely sealed and was very simple to pour into the gas tank.

I put this in a 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2. Waited until I had about 50 miles worth of fuel left in the tank, poured the bottle in, and ran the gas down to 5 miles left. Within the first few days, I noticed a change in acceleration. You step on the gas and it goes quicker than it used to. As for mileage, it may have gained a mpg or two, but no miracles were expected or performed here. I'm not an expert on this stuff, but I took the time to research, read reviews, compared results from other users, etc. $24.99 ain't cheap, but the results were worth it. I'm going to add this to the regular routine of maintenance. Definitely recommend, but users should be aware not everything can be fixed by adding a bottle of cleaner. If you maintain your vehicle and notice it not performing as well, this may be a solution, but be realistic.

We have used this a few times on various vehicle, the last one was a 2003 Ford F150 which as missing a bit and running rough. After replacing the plug at 107,000 (were also replaced years back at 75,000). Anyway, a tank with the BG 44, followed by a tank with SeaFoam, has cleared it up and it runs like is new, smooth start, clean quiet idle and runs smooth down the road.
