You really do get what you pay for. I originally bought a cheap £15 scale thinking it would do the job, but it felt flimsy, lost its charge within a week, and generally just didn’t inspire much confidence. The OutIn Clark is on a completely different level. It feels substantial and dense, clearly made from premium materials, and the quality is obvious as soon as you pick it up. The accuracy and responsiveness are spot on, and the battery life has been excellent so far. A big bonus for me is the protective case — such a simple thing, but it makes a huge difference for storage and travel and really reinforces the “premium” feel of the product. It pairs perfectly with my Timemore grinder and Airscape coffee jar, and just fits nicely into a quality home coffee setup. Expensive compared to budget options, yes — but absolutely worth it if you care about your coffee gear and want something that lasts. Highly recommended. ☕️

Ottima bilancia, precisa e fa il suo lavoro! Mi piace in particolare la modalità pour over per il caffè filtro, l'unico problema è che alle volte è veramente TROPPO sensibile...normalmente per interrompere il timer bisogna sollevare o il filtro con il caffè o la caraffa, la bilancia avverte la variazione di peso e capisce che il brewing è terminato; (troppo) spesso, però, basta sfiorare filtro o caraffa e spostarlo di 1 mm perchè la bilancia registri la (minima) variazione di peso come un "Ho finito!" e interrompa il timer. Considerando che oltre alla ratio acqua/caffè anche il tempo è un fattore importante quando si usa il metodo pour over, rischiare che il timer si interrompa a metà e dover terminare "a occhio" non è il massimo... EDIT: a seguito della recensione, il servizio clienti di OutIn mi ha contattato per informarsi sul problema e mi ha inviato, gratuitamente, un supporto pieghevole dove sistemare il V60 per evitare che il timer si interrompesse. Sono stati gentilissimi, attenti e disponibili, per questo mi sento di aumentare la valutazione!
