Giant Jester Hat with Bells - 19" x 11", Multicolor - 1 Pc

This was a surprise "present" for a coworker whose birthday is April 1. It arrived on time, made of inexpensive felt and constructed well. The little dingy bells on each point worked to delightful effect as the victim strode around the office for 1/2 a hour jingling to merriment all around. I stuffed those points with cheap batting that my wife's mom had had lying around for years. The material and seamery handled enough mechanical stress to fill out beautifully and I managed to get more-or-less the effect in the model photo with only a few minutes' effort. Sorry, y'all...I forgot to get a good photo (old guys forget we have cameras everywhere we go now). The victim good naturedly plopped this on his cubicle wall when the the joking was over, so we get a nice titter now and again. Superb value for the dollar.

Good hat. After reading the reviews I was already planning on stuffing it when it came in. I just used an old stuffed animal of my kids. It worked well.

I read all the reviews but ordered it anyway. It's made of stuff that isn't woven or felted. It's like that Post Office bag that the hat came in that doesn't look strong until you try to open it. I bought a $4 pillow from the dollar store and filled the arms with the batting. It went well and looks great.

If you want to look silly...this hat will do it.... I got many compliments on it...it's fun !

So the hat itself will not stand up on it's own and it will look stupid and floppy. BUT if you fill it with microfiber (the filling used in cheap pillows) it'll stand up and look just like you want it. So 3/5 since I needed to spend money on the microfiber and spend some time stuffing it.

My main concern was this thing fitting my 24" cranium. Turns out it's a bit snug but fits. The dangles are a bit flatter looking than the picture shows. I'd suggest buying a couple bags of cotton balls to stuff in the dangles for a more 3d effect on those. The bells are definitely not fake.. quite jingly. If you don't mind the hat being made out of felt, I recommend this purchase. Happy Foolish Easter! :)

Just perfect for the party. Arrived flat so you just stuff w/tissue paper. A party hit!

This is a wide and tall hat. The head size is not adjustable. The arms of the hat must be stuffed with tissue or hat will sit limp. Hat is made from coloured felt. Bells work well.
