We have several of these and they are the best I've found. Highly recommended. The lever back and forth is much better than the twist type and provides better leverage when grinding salt or pepper. Easy to change from course to fine and holds a good amount . We love them and gave up on all the other designs. Easy to fill as well.

This grinder is the best one I have ever had !! Functions very well. Smooth grind. Grind sizes are great. Grinder seems to be very well made while looking good. I would buy this again. Next year I will buy and give as a gift.

I gave this grinder 4 stars but I could've just easily given it at 3 or 5. Let's start with the 5. The grinder is great and it is much better than the kind that you turn, especially for our older hands. Now let's go to the 3 stars. The grinder is still still tough on our hands. We finally settled on electric grinders and are very happy with them. If you have younger hands, I would highly recommend this product as I think it works better than the normal type grinder. If you're older, or your hands aren't as strong as they should be, don't expect this one to be much easier.

Why are there not more pepper mills that use the ratchet technique? The grind can be calibrated (fine to coarse) and the ratchet movement gives a consistent result. The mill is super easy to fill and use. The pepper lovers in my house are thrilled! The price is relatively high, but so worth it. Highly recommend and would purchase again.

The product is amazing! The vendor charges $15 for shipping and it took a long time to get here. Additionally, the price tag attached displayed $25 for the spice grinder, yet they charge $70, for a total of $85, so they are making a lot of money due to the market-up. 4 stars for the product.
