Better than OEM fan on HP G62

I found a YouTube video on replacing the fan on my HP G7 laptop. Got the fan and heat sink grease on Amazon. The fan is under the mother board, so you will need to remove components to get to the fan. I just took my time and followed the instructions on the video. The fan fit and works.

I'm sure my time is up for a refund, because I waited too late to install it, or at least, try to install it! Got laptop apart to find out the fan did not fit. So, I just cleaned the old fan up and am in the process of putting laptop back together.

The fan failed on a older HP laptop, this was the perfect replacement part. Fan is quiet and works great. Make sure to check the power connector on your fan before ordering, HP sometimes uses different connectors on the same models of laptops so verify you are ordering the correct part.
