Top quality headphones
Absolutely the best wireless headphones with excellent noise cancellation. Expensive but worth the cost.

It did not function properly.
My tablet could not recognize the Sony Headphone with blue tooth. So I connected with the wire included in the package but I could hear sound on the left ear only. I couldn't distinguish noise canceling sound from regular sound. The headphone was too heavy and didn't fit well on both ears.

Simply The Best!
I always get high-end headphones. It's possible that I am on the spectrum, so being in my own world, immersed in music and sound, is important to me. These headphones are the best at accomplishing this. Worth every penny, especially if you're neurodivergent. They are so comfortable, I can sleep with them on. I love that I can turn off the touch features, and the battery lasts way longer than I thought with NC on. I can listen to music all day and all night on a single charge.

Good with the not so good
So far they work great. A few minor hiccups. Connects quickly and great sound, bass and comfort. Some may like it, I dont, they turn themselves off quickly if not worn or used. I know it saves battery life but it can be a pain in the butt and a little annoying. Occasionally they will switch from sound canceling to ambient and that can be a little annoying also. Other than that, I would recommend them. I'll post updates if anything changes

An upgrade from the WH-1000XM4
I have used the M4 version for a few years. They actually still work pretty good except when someone calls me on the phone. Then for some reason the caller cannot hear me. Software updating did not help it and unfortunately Sony now has horrible (basically no) customer support for things like that. I suppose I could have switched to another brand but Sony sucked me in with a "trade in" which I ended up not doing. As it turned out, the trade in credit required me to sign up with eBay and I was done with that den of thieves years ago. Regardless, I do like the M6. It solved the "call in" problem, has a firmer head clamp, seems lighter and also has better noise cancelling.

First impression was not very good, I thought the headphones construction and materials weren't what I expected for the £400 price tag. On first listening I was completely underwhelmed, preferring the ancient B&W P5's that these were to replace. After extensive listening I have grown to love them. The noise cancelling is unbelievably good, with no real difference to sound quality. The sound quality is very, very good and can be tailored to personal taste by the Sony app. They are expensive but worth every penny! Here is my list of likes and dislikes: Likes; Fantastic noise canceling. First class sonically, with absolutely no perceivable distortion of any kind. Very comfortable even after prolonged use. A very classy sound which seems to grow better with use. Great Sony app. Very easy to set up, no problems with bluetooth connection or loss of signal. Dislikes: The indicators for left and right are miniscule, I found them really hard to see even when wearing reading glasses. Not a fan of the satin finish which seems to be a grease magnet, making them look scruffy very quickly. I found the touch sensitive "swipe and hold" volume control very hit and miss, but to be fair, I have sausage sized fingers. The universal joint which joins the headband to phones looks very flimsy and prone to failure. I would have expected real leather earpads on a flagship model. Any negative comments are just minor niggles and subject to personal preference. I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for high end sound quality.

After my XM3 were stolen, I was “forced” to upgrade to the XM6. These are easily the best headphones in this category. Pricey, but worth it.
