Most of Bandai's model kits are easy to build and this Imperialdramon kit is no different. It's fun and easy to build and looks great completed.

It's very stable when posed, fits on the table nicely, and the dragon/fighter mode collectively gives it lots of posing potential.

First of all, let me say this is not a kids toy. It's a plastic model kit for Ages 15 and up, which contains small parts that can easily be swallowed by children 3 and under. It comes disassembled, meaning you have to build this yourself. No glue is required, unless a part breaks while building it. It also has a few sharp edges, such as the teeth, claws, horns and wings. So handle with care. As for the model itself, it's a really cool looking model and a descent size. As a long time Digimon fan, it makes me happy knowing Bandai is giving us Plastic Model kits of our favorite Digital Monsters. And Imperialdramon is no different. Although proportion-wise, I think Fighter mode looks better than Dragon mode. Despite Dragon Mode being my favorite Imperialdramon form out of the 3. That being Dragon Mode, Fighter Mode and Paladin Mode(for those not familiar with Digimon). You can also swap this between Dragon Mode and Fighter mode any time you want. Along with being able to remove the Positron Laser arm canon, to create other iconic poses from the show. Which is a big plus. If I had to nitpick anything about this model, it's the wings are a little too small compared to the rest of the body, and the source material. Also, I'm personally not a fan of applying stickers to my model kits, unless it's the eyes. And like every other Gunpla model I've bought, this comes with stickers. Weather you decide to use them or not, is up to the hobbyist. Also a few Model kit tips for newbies: - Paint/panel line the model kit as you go. It'll make it a lot easier to access gaps and hard to reach places when painting. - Always use a pair of Side cutters to remove the parts from the plastic frames. I tried using scissors in the past, and it just doesn't work as well. - Always use model kit paints/markers, since they're specifically designed for plastic model kits. - Paint thinner > markers. While using model kit markers for panel lining is fine for beginners, and easier to use, I've found the lines fade away over time. Where as paint thinner is messier, but lasts longer than markers. - Keep your model away from direct sunlight! Sunlight is an enemy of all Plastic Model kits, and can cause the colors to fade, as well as make the parts extremely brittle. I made the mistake of leaving my Freedom Gundam model kit in partial sunlight, and the rods for posing the funnels turned yellow and crumbled from only a small bit of pressure. - You can't get part replacements with these Models, unless you reside in Japan. This is probably one of the dumbest things about these models. Since if a part breaks or gets lost, you have to go out an rebuy a new model kit, just for that one part, because Japan doesn't ship Gunpla parts worldwide. - Use a metal tray, plastic container, or the box itself to hold the small parts while working on the model. It'll prevent you from potentially loosing small parts via accidentally dropping them on the ground. Overall, this model kit is great! While I haven't built it yet(as of this review), I highly recommend it to Digimon fans, and hobbyists alike. Or anyone new to Gunpla. I hope Bandai eventually gives us a model kit of Imperialdramon Paladin Mode in the future. Cause I love these Digimon Amplified model kits.
