I LOVE THIS THING! SIX stars! How about TEN STARS?!??! I don't know how I ever got along without it. I live fairly close (1/3 of a mile of so) to a major highway, and anything I'd shoot outdoors always had road noise. As you'll see in my video, the Hollyland Lark A1 put an end to that problem! It's absolutely night and day! Easy to set up. Literally just plug and go! If the receiver is plugged into your phone, the phone automatically switches over from the built-in mic. The app is straightforward and easy to figure out. Holds a charge for a good while. Seems like 60-90 minutes or so? I haven't actually measured it. But considering there are two, you can use one while the other one charges. The magnetic clip is just fantastic. SOOOO much easier and gives you WAY more options than a traditional mechanical, tension clip. And I LOVE the compact size compared to all those big, clunky things you see sooo many people using lately. SO much less distracting in your images. And the price!??!?! It's unbelievably affordable. I'd gladly pay $100, maybe even $200 for this mic! Is it AS GOOD as a $1000, pro-level mic? NO. Is it as good as a $300 semi-pro mic? Probably not. But I think most people would have to have them side-by-side to notice a difference. (if there was any at all) As far as any negatives... Mostly trivial! I wish it had a hard case to store everything in. BUT the "box" does have well-fitted compartments, so I guess that will get the job done! And the magnets are so strong that if one mic is in the charging base, the other will try to yank it out as you try to put it in next to it. It does also seem to add a little bit of distortion to your voice. But for the price? I'm quite happy to call that "personality," along the lines of tube distortion in an amplifier : ) I can't believe I've been shooting videos all these years without this. And if you get it, I'm certain you'll feel the same way!

Best mic hands down, clear, easy to use, and nice charging case …no issues clear sound, noise reduction, easy 2 option clip on ( magnet or clip on).

For now is working good, I bought it for my partner and he likes it, good quay, also brings a pouch to keep it save. Charges quick, between other features.

We love these mics, they reach so far. My kids being micd up during football games. We can hear from behind the scenes.

These work well. Not completely clear, but well enough. The noise cancelling is surprisingly strong and does get rid of most background noise. I've been able to use these for podcast interviews with I'm not at home with a studio mic. I like the compact design. I do not like that the attachment is a magnet that looks like it could easily get lost if dropped. Just make sure you double check the connection type!

Works better than expected

The sound quality was great. It’s easy to use as it is simply plug and play. It functions as it should and the noise cancellation helped a lot for when I record my interviews and video assignments. The clip on mic is super cute and compact. Very easy to hide if you’re planing on doing video assignments with subjects. Connectivity was super simple. I’d recommend.

The sound on these mics are amazing!! The only downside is if you want to clip them somewhere it has to be on minimal material since they’re magnetic, rather than the standard spring clip. But cannot fault the sound!
