4D Silk Fiber Lash Mascara Waterproof, Luxuriously Longer, Thicker, Voluminous Eyelashes, Long-Lasting, Dramatic Extension, Smudge-proof, Hypoallergenic Formula

This is longgg, but for my friends out there with oily lids, sensitive teary eyes, and the desire for long, thick lashes without the fear of looking in the mirror at 1:00PM and seeing a raccoon staring back at you, BEAR WITH ME BECAUSE I CRACKED THE CODE. So I used to love L’Oréal Lash Tubes, but the last few that I’ve bought have been super clumpy and dried out after only using them a handful of times. :( I’ve been on the hunt for a similar mascara (one that adds volume and length while reliably smudge-proof and/or waterproof). After LOTS of trial and error, here’s what I landed on + links to the other products mentioned as well. 1.) Curl eyelashes with a regular curler 2.) Apply L’Oréal’ lash primer 3.) Follow with one coat of 4D Silk Fiber Lash Mascara 4.) Heated curler 5.) Apply second coat of mascara 6.) Heated curler 7.) When needed, use lash separator comb throughout, and apply primer and mascara in a zigzag back and forth motion As for the heated curler, it’s not a necessary buy—it works fine and adds more of a curl but nothing life changing. I have a few lashes in the outer corners of my eyes that grow downwards and often irritate my eyes that I can’t always fix with a regular curler. The heated curler is just more precise and def helps with that— but of course, be super careful when using it. Anyways, just buy the d*mn mascara, it's awesome. Hi. Don’t usually go all-in writing a review but this is worth the time for me. I have lashes, they’re there. I also have extensive experience with makeup application and I’m an artist. I’ve done lash-inserts, fake lashes and also used thousands of different formulas of mascara. However for this review ...I used nothing on my lashes other than this product. As you can plainly see...the “presence” it gives the eye is outstanding. No inserts; no curling (as it weakens the hairs and tends to sometimes also pull them out)...what you get after one application and then a few reapplications (after the initial one semi-dries) is really outstanding. I do not like the brush, but I’m used to the Tarte (Maneater) brush and it’s the best...so I’m tempted to add pictures using another brush in this formula. *THIS IS PERFECT FOR SUMMER BECAUSE IT WON’T budge. I used Softymo speedy cleansing oil by Kose’ to remove. DO NOT THINK MICELLAR WATER OR ANY NON-oil REMOVER WILL WORK-they won’t. Which also means that your pillows, his clothes and the sun won’t budge this mascara. I gave it four out of five stars in the removal area because it literally almost doesn’t come off! Must be done with care, it’s a forever-stay-put mascara! I will post another picture using the brush from Tarte-Maneater...the second picture...now, you MUST be able to apply mascara correctly to avoid any clumping which is why I think they provided the brush they did...but it was a crazy drastic result when I used another brush. Will repost if I experience any sensitivity issues with it in the near future. Please ask any questions if you have any at all, about this product or whatever else lol! 🤗

I do like this mascara, although there are good and not-so-good things about it. First, the good: - Very volumizing. Really makes your lashes look thick and full. - Easy to build coverage to your liking. - Smudge-proof- I can wear all day without getting the "raccoon eyes" that I've experienced, even with luxury brands. I have long lashes that are, unfortunately, fair in color so I like to use a dark mascara to highlight them. Most other mascaras will leave marks both above and below my eyes from my eyelashes touching those areas, but this mascara stays in place. Now for the "not-so-good": - While it's easy to build coverage, it tends to clump so a lash separator is needed to keep from having the spiky look - it's a bit difficult to remove, even with a good makeup remover - the brush is BIG. Very thick and full, which helps with coverage, but it's impossible to get into the inner and outer corners of your eye without getting it on your skin. If you think of it in terms of a paintbrush, this would be the wide brush that you use to fill in rather than the thin brush you'd use for detail/trim painting - it dries very quickly on your lashes, so you have to work quickly to build coverage and try to avoid clumping Overall, it's a decent mascara.

The mascara itself would have been great; I have used it before. However, the container/brush isn't good. The brush part does not come out, making it impossible to use with the older brush. I would have returned it, but the window was already closed. Sad to waste the good mascara and my money.

Not impressed. I’m looking for a good waterproof mascara and this isn’t it. While it is easy to use and gives decent coverage to my lashes it flaked and didn't adhere to my lashes when I jumped in the pool. I looked like a flaky raccoon. Out of the water it was good enough for a few hours before it flaked.

Excellent mascara! I can’t get over how it lengthens and thickens my eyelashes!

I love this mascara it is hands down one of the best I have used. It goes on easily, for a fuller look you can add a couple of coats. It doesn’t smudge yet is easy to remove with makeup wipes. 100% will be buying again

I’ve used many mascaras over the years and I must say I think this one is one of the best it does not smudge at all throughout the day. It is extremely easy to apply eyelashes grew in front of my eyes- Product dried quickly. The brush is large making the small ashes in the inner corner of the eye more difficult to apply and a lot of the Mascara Did end up on my eyelids but was easily removed with a cotton bud... My eyelashes are very separate and now look very long - all coated without clumping Comes in double packaging - Attractive but not sure if absolutely necessary as I put it all in the bin Proof is in the pudding I immediately ordered another one for my daughter - really lovely product.
