Coombs Family Farms Organic Maple Syrup, Grade A Dark Color, Robust Taste, 64 Fl Oz

My favorite small-operation syrup maker from Massachusetts went out of business after more than 50 years. While not quite the same experience as my favorite, this one comes reasonably close. It blows the socks off anything made in Canada. I like this dark amber that other makers used to call "grade B" -- nice deep flavor. Like drinking a stout instead of a lager. Maybe not quite as dark as the old grade B. Good stuff!

Super thick and delicious! Growing up, I always remember my gramma having this amazing maple syrup from her local coop that we would pour over oatmeal in the mornings. I haven’t tasted a maple syrup like it since - until I tried this one. Nostalgic and old fashioned like it should be. Its dark, rich, amazing depth of flavor. This is a step way above your normal grocery store syrups, and I'd even say it’s quite a bit better than what I get at the farmers market. Definitely worth the money.

I am such a maple syrup snob that when my beloved grade B changed to more descriptive words, well, I had words for IMSI. I digress. This syrup is grade B, otherwise known as "Dark Color & Robust Flavor". It is indeed both, but more importantly it is freaking delicious. I suggest using it in place of your morning tea/coffee's sweetener for a luxuriously delicious way to start your day. I don't suggest bathing in it, but if you do, this price point is certainly affordable for such great quality.

I buy a large jug about three to four weeks, it’s delicious. My only complaint is: packing, every time I got my order the cap is cracked and some of the syrup is in the bottom of the box. It needs to have a good amount of bubble wrap covering the cap,

This is hands down my favorite maple syrup. I don't like the "maple flavored" things, and many of the pure syrups are just thin and sweet. This syrup is rich and dark in color and has a great maple flavor - I will always buy this syrup even though it is more expensive - to me it's worth it. I knocked a star on money just because it's pricey, and presentation because the spout on the large bottle is different than on the smaller jugs and doesn't pour as well - let's get that fixed!
