Does the sd card sit all the way inside of the dvd player or does it stick out?

I can't answer your question, I don't know. But, I did return it for refund. The sound was too low to hear at the highest level. The picture was beautiful. I wish iegeek would fix the sound problem.

What's the capacity of the SD card?

Does it have a remote?

How to show remaining battery level?

It will show “low battery” on the screen while you are watching a dvd. Also, there is a light on the front of the player that illuminates red when not charged and green when charged.
