The unit came very well packed with corner protectors. It fit in well and the individual blade adjustments allow the air flow to go where you need it.

Obviously, the key to satisfaction here is making sure you’ve measured your duct opening correctly, and this is the right size. If you’ve done this, the thing is completely simple to install. It took me *maybe* 60 seconds. If that. It works great, and it allows you to completely customize the airflow. The grste I replaced was fixed in the horizontal direction, and only allowed the air to blow in opposote (and fixed) directions. Because of the way my room is laid out, that meant half my airflow blew directly at a wall and was wasted. This lets you aim the air up or down, and side to side individually, with each vertical louver, which is awesome. My room is much cooler now since half the air is not being wasted blown at a wall. This isn’t rocket science. It just works. It’s easy to install, fairly priced, and it looks nice. “I’d give it a 10. It’s got a great beat, and you can dance to it“. LOL.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and functionality of the vent. It really did just slide in and was just slightly larger on the outside that helped hide a couple of sins on the hole. The color also matched the rest of the matte black items in the bathroom.

Looks very nice. Just be aware if you are using this as a replacement and you have trim work you may need to modify it to get it to lay flush with the wall. It is worth making the modification.
