I purchased these shoes to go with a khaki-colored suit for my son to wear for his First Holy Communion. He was between a size 3 and 4 at the time, so I ordered both sizes. The size 3 fit him comfortably, so I was able to easily return the size 4 using the free return option.Value for Money: I was pleasantly surprised by the quality considering the price. These were less expensive than many of the other dress shoes I was considering, but they look and feel like a much more expensive pair. They’re a great value for a child's dress shoe.Fit: The size 3 fit my son comfortably, with no complaints about pinching or discomfort. He wore them throughout his entire First Communion event and never complained that his feet hurt. He actually described them as comfortable.Ease of Use: My son is accustomed to wearing mostly tennis shoes and Crocs, so I wasn’t sure how he would do with a more traditional dress shoe. He had no trouble putting these on himself and tying the laces. The laces stayed tied throughout the entire event, which was a definite plus.Color: The color is beautiful and neutral. It paired perfectly with his khaki suit without looking too formal or overly dressy. I also like that the neutral color means he can wear them again with other dressier outfits.Durability: After wearing them for his First Communion, they held up very well and still looked great. They seem well-made and sturdy enough to handle the occasional special occasion while still being comfortable for kids.Versatility: These are a great option for weddings, church events, family photos, school functions, or any occasion where a boy needs something dressier than sneakers. Great quality shoes that are semi-casual and formal look. Little stiff at first but one day with my son in them they were broken in nicely. Very slick and shiny. Laces are a bit tight but durable.
