Not sure what plastic is used for the footbed, but after only 2 months they STINK horribly! I used Hydrogen Peroxide, Bleach, Alcohol...nothing gets the stink out. Setting them in the sun helps a little...but then it comes back. Search for "smell" and you will see others with the same issue. Otherwise, they fit well. True to size. High arches. Super tough sole made more for outdoor use.

Nice & thick but very comfortable

I wear flip flops 6 months a year. I am very picky and won't pay the insane surf shop prices. These Hobebears get my A+ in every category: Form. Function. Price. They fit to size. Straps start a little tight and loosen to a good fit. The footbed material is soft enough to be comfy without getting wobbly/spongy. Top side have enough texture and material breaks in enough heel cup to keep your feet in place when wet. Soles have wet traction and are non-marking. And these things are strong! I walked into some super-sucky muddy river bottom and thought I'd have to abandon Flips. I powered them out with enough force to tear a $75 Reef or Olukai apart. All this for under $40!

Quick dry as material doesn’t absorb water. Precisely what I was searching for; showering, beach walk & when caught in the rain. Meticulously shaped to help distribute & spread out pressure under my aching feet. Highly recommend for people like me who need a firm arch support . Despite the firmness, it offers a soft & flexible walk.. Not cheap but still value for money.
