**Q: Will this kill Multiflora rose plants?**
A: Metsulfuron is exceedingly effective against multiflora rosa.  I mix about 1 ounce of dry metsulfuron in 50 gallons water and spray to  multiflora to wet.   SInce most of this is around hedge-rows it's a bit hard to quantify area but I'd say an acre of multiflora can be treated in this manner.  It works very slowly - takes about a month to see it working.  It also has excellent residual so it will keep it from coming back from seed or small shoots.   For the area it treats it's very cost effective and wont kill the grass around the multiflora.  Obviously if you want everything dead but no residual use glyphosate and if you want longer bare ground sulfometuron can be used for bare ground for a year very cost-effectively.   Finally if you want to kill multiflora in desirable grass like a pasture aminopyralid works really really well but is expensive.

**Q: Does it kill clover?**
A: I never have applied it by itself. I like to add Dicamba or 2,4-D Amine with it. Two applications to plush, growing, non stressed clover, should do the trick. Wait 7 to 10 days between the applications and don’t mow the clover 2 days before or after each application. Try to use 20 gallons of water per acre for good coverage.

A: 2 tenths of an ounce to a gallon

**Q: I need to get a weed control for bahia grass in our st. augustine lawn.  what might be available that will not damage the st. augustine?**
A: I own commercial landscape company in business for 37 years. Msm is the only product I have used that does exactly what it says. Will not harm St. Augustine if mixed as directed. Depending on temps 7 t0 10 days bahaia will stop growing. May take 2 applications to completely kill. Good luck.
