I usually love Zevia; the creamy root beer is different now though
I like most to all of the Zevia flavors. There are a few flavors I stick to though. One of which was the Creamy Root Beer. When it first came out I was thrilled. It was so much better than the ginger root beer; it became a frequent purchase.I just bought a pack though, after a little while, and holy sarsaparilla is the flavor different. It's no longer the classic creamy root beer flavor, like A&W. It's honestly overwhelming and unpleasant. The sarsaparilla flavor is so so strong that in conjunction with the stevia, it's almost sickly sweet. It wasn't like this before. I'm disappointed 'cause I'd been looking forward to it, and I'm sad that I spent money on it, especially with the price it is now.I'm still leaving a rating of 5 because the other flavors I buy are still enjoyable, but stay away from Creamy Root Beer, unless you enjoy being punched in the face by the huge fist of sarsaparilla.

They have two root beers!
So they have two different root beers to choose from, and they are both really good. It's hard to knock either of them so I'll only try to describe them. The creamy is sorta normal root beer flavor if you will while the ginger root beer is stronger flavored, maybe "spicier" or something. I definitely got the vibe from my stomach that the ginger root beer was more acidic or something, because it kinda made my stomach burn a little. If you really love a bold root beer flavor I guess go for the ginger root beer, but if you just like normal "calm" root beer, buy this. I think I'll buy this one.

The good stuff with out the diabetes
The most likable flavor of all the zevia sodas in my opinion, you can’t go wrong with zero carbs 0 cal and zero sugar as well as zero caffeine

Yuck!
I bought Zevia Creamy Root Beer hoping for a decent zero-sugar option, especially since it's marketed as a "rich, creamy" twist on classic root beer with natural flavors and stevia. Big mistake. This is hands-down the worst root beer I've ever had, and I've tried a lot.First off, the clear color didn't bother me at all—I've had other clear sodas and that's fine. The real problem is the flavor (or total lack of it). There is zero recognizable root beer taste here. No sassafras, no wintergreen, no caramel, nothing that even remotely reminds you of actual root beer. Instead, it's this weird, creamy, lightly medicinal fizz that tastes disturbingly like sparkling castor oil mixed with a hint of generic sweetness. It's flat, artificial-tasting, and leaves a bizarre, off-putting aftertaste that lingers way too long. The "creamy" part feels forced—it's more like a vague vanilla-lite slickness than anything enjoyable or nostalgic. I forced down half a can hoping it would get better as it warmed up, but nope. It just got worse. I can't believe I actually paid money for this swill. It's not just disappointing; it's actively bad and made me regret every sip.If you're looking for a zero-sugar root beer that actually tastes like root beer, steer clear of this one. Zevia might work for some people who like super-mild or stevia-heavy drinks, but for anyone who wants real root beer flavor, this is a hard pass. Never again—not ever—will I buy or recommend this terrible product.Save your money and go for something else. 1/5 stars, and that's generous only because it was at least it was carbonated.
