Easy installation
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute game-changer for behind the desk and nightstands! Verified Purchase I bought this Addtam outlet extender because I was tired of bulky power strips cluttering my floor and standard wall plates running out of room. This completely solved the problem and turned a standard two-socket wall outlet into a full charging station. What Makes It Exceptional: 3-Sided Spaced Outlets: The side-facing outlets are brilliant. I can plug in bulky power bricks for my laptop, monitor, and lamp without them blocking each other. Built-in USB & USB-C Ports: Having two USB-A and two USB-C ports right on the front saves so many wall adapters. I can fast-charge my phone, smartwatch, and headphones directly from the unit without wasting AC outlets. Rock-Solid Fit: The stabilizing post on the back keeps the entire unit snug and flush against the wall. It doesn't wobble or pull away when plugging or unplugging heavy cords. Peace of Mind (1800J Surge Protection): The green LED "Protected" light gives me confidence that my expensive electronics are safe from power spikes and bad weather. It looks super clean, eliminates cord clutter on the floor, and works flawlessly. If you're short on plug space in your home office, bedroom, or kitchen, this is easily one of the best $10–$15 upgrades you can make. Easy installation just unscrew 1 screw holdithe plate cover on plug and use the included screw keepingit firmlyin place /10 recommend!

A Must-Have Power Hub for Any Room!
Design and Setup I recently picked up the Addtam Surge Protector Outlet Extender, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home office. The design is smart and immediately useful. It plugs right into a standard wall outlet, effectively transforming a single duplex outlet into a powerful charging station without the mess of a long power strip cord. The spacing of the 6 AC outlets is decent, allowing me to plug in a few larger power bricks without blocking the neighboring outlets, which is a common issue with other similar products. Installation was as easy as plugging it in with no tools or complicated instructions needed. Performance and Features This unit is exactly what I needed for handling multiple devices. The 6 surge-protected outlets easily handle my monitor, laptop dock, lamp, and more. What really makes this stand out are the USB ports. Having four of them, including two dedicated USB-C ports, means I can fast-charge my phone and tablet directly without needing their bulky wall adapters. Everything I’ve plugged into it has worked great, and I haven't had any issues with overheating or devices charging slowly. Knowing it has 1800 Joules of surge protection also gives me great peace of mind, especially for my more expensive electronics. Final Thoughts on Value For the features you get: 6 AC outlets, 4 USB ports, USB-C capability, and solid surge protection, the price point is excellent. It’s a clean, efficient, and reliable solution for managing power in a tight space like a dorm room or a busy home office. It does exactly what it promises and has been working flawlessly since I got it. Highly recommend this as an essential purchase for anyone needing to expand their wall power options.

Solid 10-in-1 wall outlet extender – great for dorms/offices, just know the USB limits
I’ve been using this Addtam 3-sided outlet extender for a couple of weeks in my home office and it does exactly what I needed: turns one duplex wall outlet into a practical charging/power hub without adding another power strip on the floor. What works well Six AC outlets arranged on three sides with wider spacing (about 2.2 inches) than a standard wall plate. Most of my typical plugs and mid-size power bricks fit without immediately blocking neighboring sockets. Side outlets are especially useful for thicker adapters. Four USB ports (two USB-C rated up to 5V/3A and two USB-A up to 2.4A). Convenient for phones, earbuds, tablets, and a Kindle. Charging is reliable at standard speeds—nothing crazy-fast, but perfectly fine for overnight or desk charging. Having the ports right on the wall unit means fewer separate chargers cluttering the outlets. 1800J surge protection with the multi-stage (TVS/MOV/GDT) design and the “SURGE PROTECTED” indicator light. Gives peace of mind for laptops, monitors, and routers. ETL listed is a plus. Secure fit. The center screw (and the plastic prong on the back) keeps it from wobbling or slowly working itself loose when you plug/unplug things. It sits flush enough that it doesn’t stick out awkwardly. Real-world use I have a laptop charger, monitor, desk lamp, phone, tablet, and a couple of small accessories running off it daily. No overheating, no flickering, and the unit stays firmly in place. It’s compact enough for a dorm or apartment where floor space is limited and you don’t want a long extension cord. Limitations to know This is a direct wall-mount unit—no extension cord—so placement is limited to where the outlet already is. Very large or oddly shaped power bricks can still crowd the adjacent outlets; plan your layout. USB-C is standard 5V/3A charging, not high-wattage USB-PD. Fine for most phones/tablets, but don’t expect laptop-fast charging through the USB ports. Not intended for high-draw appliances (space heaters, hair dryers, etc.). Stick to electronics and low-to-moderate loads. Overall For the price, this is a practical, well-built solution if you need more outlets and USB charging from a single wall socket. It’s especially useful for home offices, dorms, or any room where outlets are scarce and you want something cleaner than a floor power strip. The combination of wide-spaced AC outlets, dual USB-C ports, solid mounting, and 1800J protection makes it more useful than basic splitters I’ve tried before.Would buy again for other rooms. Recommended if your needs match what this is designed for.

Handles multiple cords well, minor mounting issue
Works well and handles multiple power cords without issue. You do need to remove the original wall plate for it to stick properly. One downside: even when screwed in, it comes slightly loose over time if cords are pulled out frequently. Overall a good surge protector once installed correctly.

The Outlet Extender That Thinks It’s Running a Small Power Company
The Addtam Surge Protector Outlet Extender is basically the Swiss Army knife of wall plugs — 6 outlets, 4 USB ports, and 2 USB‑C ports, which means it can charge everything I own plus three things I haven’t bought yet. Plugging this thing in felt like installing a tiny electrical upgrade to my house. Suddenly I’m powering my phone, tablet, earbuds, speaker, and probably the neighbor’s hopes and dreams. It handles it all without sparking, smoking, or making that ominous “I’m about to explode” hum you get from cheap chargers. It grips the wall like it’s afraid of Texas gravity, doesn’t wobble, and doesn’t try to yeet itself out of the outlet like some of the chaotic ones I’ve owned. And the layout? Chef’s kiss. No outlet Tetris, no fighting with bulky plugs, no rage. Five stars. It’s the only thing in my house that’s organized, reliable, and not plotting against me.

Works great!
I picked this up to clean up a cluttered outlet situation, and lack of plugs. This is essentially a 10 in 1 wall extender. You get 6 outlets plus 4 USB ports including USB C, which makes a big difference if you have multiple devices in one spot. What I like most: Wide spacing between outlets. I can actually plug in bulkier adapters without blocking everything else Built in USB and USB C. Eliminates the need for extra charging bricks Secure fit. Once it’s screwed into the outlet, it feels solid and doesn’t wobble. It's also way better than running a power strip across the floor I’ve had multiple devices plugged in at once like a laptop, monitor, and chargers, and everything runs without issues. The added surge protection is a nice bonus for peace of mind. Only small thing to note. The USB ports are convenient, but they’re not ultra fast charging compared to dedicated fast chargers. Totally fine for everyday use, just something to be aware of. Overall, if you need more outlets without the mess of extension cords, this is a really simple and effective solution. I’d definitely buy it again.

Just what I needed
I had an outlet that I needed more out of in terms of what I can use plug in. It takes up both plugs but it’s worth it. I get 6 outlets plus usb and usc ports. This is ideal for charging items and using it to organize what is in that area and how I use it. It was easy to “install” and I’m so happy with it. It really cleaned up the cords and gave me more options in the future.

Best plug extender. Used for a few years and buying more.
It is simple, it fits over the new square plates (over hangs a little but acceptable) and fits on top of the older style plug without the faceplate. Great part is that it has type-c and BUS charging ports. Great for entertainment multiplug need setup with angled plugs. I am just a happy customer with this style. I forgot the other best part is that is is a surge protector. No photo is needed. It works and we all seen plugs before :-)
