Beaphar FIPROtec Spot-On for Extra Large Dogs has genuinely impressed me. My large dog usually struggles with flea treatments, either due to irritation or ineffectiveness, but this worked brilliantly. Application was straightforward and hassle-free—just a quick spot-on the back of the neck, and my dog didn't even notice. Within a couple of days, fleas and ticks were completely eliminated, and the treatment noticeably prevented new infestations for weeks afterwards. Unlike other treatments I've tried, it didn't irritate his skin or leave any unpleasant residue or smell. The only minor drawback is that the pipette design can sometimes be fiddly, but it's really a small inconvenience for how effective the product is. Overall, it's a reliable, vet-strength solution at a great price, ideal for large breeds—definitely recommended!

Reading the reviews I had high hopes for this product. The first treatment did not work at all. After the second treatment I was still finding fleas on the dog and in the house, then suddenly they just vanished. So far they have not returned. I have not found a single flea on the dog for several days and only one individual flea in a trap in the house. Either the infestation had already got in the carpets when I started or it takes more than one treatment but yes, after initially thinking it was no good - I have to concede that if you stick with it for a couple of treatments this stuff actually does seem to work. I have the central heating on now so they would be breeding like nad if it didn't work, but there's not a flea to be seen. I think I've found a product that actually works and doesn't cost the £160 my vet wanted for 4 months worth.

Does the job and inexpensive - my dog had a few fleas (less than 5) and this seemed to help get rid of them easily without needing prescription flea treatment

Bought these for my German Shepherd it’s the first time I have used them worked really well and didn’t have a weird smell to them like all the ones I have used. It did not irritate my dog. She did not scratch at them and she did not get a rash there was no smell to it, which I really liked and I guess my dog like that too perfect item just exactly what it does on the tin. I have re-bought this item many times since

I tried these after another brand I tried didn't seem to work. My labrador is being plagued by ticks this year it seems. The last treatment I did didn't seem to work and she had another tick within 2 weeks. I put some of solution directly onto the tick and it seems to have killed it. The rest of the solution I have put between her shoulders which I always think gets messy and oily and I'm not sure how well it works if she then gets wet or rolls about . It also seems a bit pricey for what you get , but it's a necessity and the best price I could find.
