Passive DisplayPort 1.4 Extension Cable

部屋のレイアウト変更に伴い、５ｍのケーブルではギリギリであるため、余裕を持たせた状態でモニターまで繋ぐために購入しました。延長に伴うロスやトラブルも無く、快適に使えています。

3mだと足りず 5mは長過ぎるので これを購入し2m＋1.8ｍで余裕を持って配線できた Displayport1.4でブラックアウトもなし 太さは７mmとちょっと太め

安心の米Cable Matters製、DP1.4対応で1000円ほどと安価で堅実な良い製品です。動作も正常に動作しています。 ただ一点、ボタンを押さないと外せないため、ディスプレイ裏などに縦に挿してしまうと取り外すときに苦労します。

問題無く使えました。 耐久性が未知数なのと、希望のサイズ(１m)が無かったので星4としました。

接触悪め

デスク昇降用に延長したくて２本買いましたが、１本は3日で壊れました。 ディスプレイ側で信号が認識できなくなったり、解像度やリフレッシュレートも本来の設定ができようできなくなりました。 お安いので仕方ありませんが、安かろう悪かろうという前提で買うことをお勧めします。

『HP Reverb G2』には使えませんでした。

以前こちらのメーカーでDP1.2のケーブルを購入した際にWQHD(144Hz)でゲーム中にちらつく事がありましたが今回はVive Proとサブ液晶になってしまいましたが同様の液晶でも問題なく動作いたしました。 1.8Mも要らなかったのですがこちらが一番短かったので購入しました。 0.5Mか1Mがあればよいかと思いました。 グラボがDP3つまでなので煩わしいケーブルの付け替えが手元でできるようになったので楽になりました。 とてもコスパの良い商品だと思います。

I bought these extensions to serve as a sort of manual switch between the displayport cables coming from my desktop and my macbook (so that instead of disconnecting and reconnecting directly at the monitor port and possibly wear it out, I do it on this extension cable). While it is not stated directly in the description of the product, this cable does support DisplayPort 1.4 up to 32.4Gbps. This means that it is possible, for example to output 1440p (or 2k) at 240Hz, which was my requirement and uses about 95% of the available bandwidth. If you also have such high requirements in terms of bandwidth, you need to be mindful of the total cable length (original cable+extension) considering how this is a passive cable extension. In my case, the original cables have 2m which, with this extension, puts the total cable length at just below 4m. I think anything beyond this point would probably not work well because of small losses and energy dissipation in the cables and the extension link. However, in my case it seems to be working extremely well, with no flickers, blackouts, banding or any other visual artifacts. In regards to durability and how its performance holds up with use, only time will tell. For now I absolutely recommend it!
