Great IoT products
Jasco products are great, and their IoT devices are the best bar none. They were early developers for the IoT industry -- and no I don't work for Jasco. The only negative reviews I saw were related to speed and fan control, which likely has nothing to do with switch but is more likely related to fan itself or flaky IoT hub.I have 3 of the devices (plan to buy 3 more) and I can say with 100% certainty that all 3 fans have the same force, rotation function present that they had via the manual switch, same velocity and with no problem with connections/control via my Smart Things hub.So I attribute those "negative" reviews to home or fan environmental issues. These are and have been for me great products.

Great Product Super Easy Install
I had a GE brand (made by Jasco) smart ceiling fan switch that failed after many years and many power outages. Went to the box stores and couldnโt find a zwave smart ceiling fan switch that met my needs. So I went on Amazon searched and found this which was a newer version of what I had. The installation was fool proof. Insert the copper wires into the proper hole in the back and tighten with a Philips head screwdriver. Wish all switches and outlets were this easy and secure. Then hooked it up to my smart hub and was back in business with ceiling fan and being able to control it through my phone and Alexa. Total time was less than 10 minutes to replace and setup. Great product and design !

Go-To Switch โ Older Capacitor Issues Finally Fixed
These are my standard pick for fan control. Good size/depth, easy install, configures well with Home Assistant/Z-Wave. Older versions had capacitor failures โ these newer ones feel much more built for the long haul.

No neutral wire included! Beware!
They removed the common white wire from the included contents and now require you provide your own jumper to complete the install! I have installed this product in multiple homes, but I do not support cost cutting measures that make it less convenient for the consumer. Especially when they hide the fact it is not included. Either charge the dollar more if truely is making the product unprofitable or make it clear to the buyer that it is not included. Is it something I can't solve myself? No, but I expected an all in one solution like every other smart switch I have bought including this one in the past. Shame on me for thinking otherwise.

Disappointed
If you want a fan controller on Z-wave, yes this works. Z-Wave fan controllers are rare, so you might need to pick this product. It works, but I was hoping for much better.Downsides:1. This is a old product. It does not support SmartStart via QR Code. It does not support any form of security (S0 or S2).2. In Home Assistant, it shows up as a 0%-100% control, but it really only supports 3 levels. 0-32% means low, 33-66% means medium, and 67%-100% means high. The disconnect makes it harder to control the speeds through Home Assistant.
