This is the hottest pepper jelly I have tasted thus far. You notice the hotness immediately. and it lingers for a few minutes then slowly dissapates. It's not unbearable but not for people that have a low tolerance to heat. It doesn't have a specific fruit flavor as the jelly only contains pectin and cane sugar. but definately has the distinct ghost peppr flavor. You can see specks and pieces of the pepper flesh suspended in the jelly. I like it on toast with butter or on a bagel with cream cheese. This would go good with cream cheese and corn chips or over baked brie and sliced baguette. Good product and I'm definately going to try their other jellies.
