I originally gave us a negative review because I used it for weeks and noticed it wasn't catching anything. I was unhappy and returned it. But now, after not having it for a while, I noticed the flies have returned. It may not have caught the big fly, but it did something to keep them away.I am now regretting not to keeping them.

I'm not really sure what to say about this product, I got this one for the kitchen because I didn't want to gross anyone out from hearing the bugs getting zapped from a traditional one. But when I was checking on the machine to see how many it caught it only had one after 4 days, after 2 weeks it had 5. When I was eating by it I saw two walking across the top of it but did not get sucked in. This product doesn't work as well as it advertised for catching gnats. When I set up the traditional zapper after, it got 13 from what I heard from it going off.

These work amazing I have one for every room

These insect catchers are nice! This replacement one is a little louder than my old one being used in another room. I have definitely seen a reduction in fruit flies and it has also caught regular flies and a big moth! I have recommended them to family members and purchased as a gift for my brother. The sheets are sticky enough to keep the bugs in the machine.

The product definitely works. The area I live in is thick with flies and mosquitoes. I also have a problem with fruit flies. I have been using the trap for a couple of weeks and I have trapped numerous insects. Trapping the mosquitoes was the main reason I purchased the trap.

Cons: A little bulky, requires a usb plug. Definitely not worth the $$. It took nearly a week for me to see one tiny gnat inside (and I had 4 of these around my house trying to catch these damn bugs). Flies avoid them altogether. If you plan to keep these plugged in and running 24/7 they could be slightly effective but don’t count on them for the occasional use. I even purchased one for my office at work and it was useless- I kept getting chewed up by mosquitos. Zevo plug ins ended up doing a better job than these. Not worth the price (in my opinion). Pro: very quiet, can be placed inconspicuously, inserts are easy to install/ remove and are sticky (then double sided tape level sticky), decent appearance. Overall- cons far outweigh the pros.

Doesn't work, spend the extra money

Works as advertised. Good little product.
