8.1" Wireless CarPlay Screen with 2K Dash Cam & 1080P Backup Camera

So I was bet skeptical about orders a Carplay, last time ordered different brand was hard to set-up so I returned it. I waited a while and watched this device amd read every comment, seems to be Amazon's Best seller. Watched the price and got it on great sale. Packaging came wonderfully un tack, and no damage observed at delivery. Connectivity was quick and simple,tried thru Bluetooth, radio channel and even thru Aux option to if is it all worked, if ever needed in the future. All options for sound worked. As I read as instructed Android Carplay was quick. Easy and simple. Whenever I get in the care Auto Android connection is Automatic, Screen display is bright and colorful. Actually got this for the dash camera as well and it worked perfectly. I THOUGHT the SD card thst came with the device 🤔 didn't work, but it did, I just had to push it further in the SD slot for it to take (it may look like it coming back out, but be patient and just push the SD CARD back in further using (used pencil tip) or tool to make sure it in far) and it will take perfectly. Dash camera actually records well,and you can go in settings and delete or replay any videos, it records in 2 mins increments could be wrong, may have to test time recording on your own. I while driving the dash cam records in real time and you can snap pictures as well. Split screen is wonderfully and used well if that's your options. I already have a Smart traffic Garmin GPS so I use it only for dash came and android play. Now the suction however, that's another story. You may have to get double-sided, strong strong double-sided tape to hold it down. And it was prefect didn't move at faster speed or nothing. AND THE Carplay head piece does swivel with is a PLUS. Unfortunately The suction isn't strong enough for the Car play to stay on the dashboard. Just make sure that you clean dash very well. I would recommend this to anyone who needs carplay or apple pay, in their vehicle. Its worth the investment. I will give it abot 2 months and do a updated review however RIGHT now out the box 📦 its great. Recommend to anyone. Review my recordings and pics and judge for yourself.

I bought this to modernize a 2017 SUV that had a screen but no carplay functionality, and it has completely changed the driving experience. This isn't just a basic screen; it’s a high-performance hub. Display & Interface: The 9-inch screen is crisp and surprisingly bright, even in direct afternoon sunlight. The touch response is fluid with no noticeable lag when swiping through Spotify or Google Maps. Wireless CarPlay connects automatically within about 15 seconds of starting the car, which is faster than some factory systems I’ve used. Dash Cam Quality: The 2K front camera is the hidden gem here. The footage is sharp enough to read license plates clearly, and the night vision handles glare from oncoming headlights very well. It comes with a 64GB card, which is a nice touch, though I may upgrade to a larger one later for longer loop recording. Audio Setup: For the best sound, I recommend using the AUX output or the FM transmitter if your car is older. The built-in speaker is fine for navigation prompts, but for music, you’ll want it hooked into your car’s actual speakers. Installation: It took me about 10 minutes. The adhesive mount is heavy-duty and hasn't budged even on bumpy backroads. Final Thought: If you want Apple CarPlay/Android Auto without the $500+ cost of a professional head-unit installation, this is the easiest path to top-quality tech.

So I have been thinking about adding CarPlay to my 2014 Chevy Cruz for a while. And then when our rental had it, I fell in love with it. So I bought this after market CarPlay device. Again, I definitely think you should check it out. And here are some troubleshooting tips that prevented me from giving it 5 stars. FYI I should note amazon phone tech support was amazing. 1) It made a clicking sound. FIXED - It came down to the power cord. I did NOT use the usb-c power cord because I needed a multiport cigarette lighter adapter. 1 port to power the device and 1 port to charge my phone. So it took two tries to find a USB-C cord in my pile of cords, but once I found the right one clicking stopped. 2) Memory Card. FIXED - Seating the included SD card was NOT easy. It kept popping out and flying around my kitchen. BUT, with the tip of a steak knife I was able to eventually seat the SD card and appears to work fine. 3) Mounting on a curved dashboard. FIXED - For the best mounting you need a flat spot on your dashboard. I did not have one and initially the sticky tape provided would not stick. So, got some Goo Gone, wiped it thoroughly and it stuck. I used duct tape to force it to contour to the curve in the dashboard. And now, as far as I can tell, this sucker is NOT coming off. 4) Audio Cable. FIXED - The 3 ft audio cable that came with the product was too short to reach the aux-in that resides in the center console. I found one that was 5ft long and it worked great. 5) Cable concealment: FIXED - My setup ended up with 3 cables. 2 coming out of the device and an extra one coming out of the cigarette adapter. So I used a braided cable sleeve to hide them. It was a little thicker than what I needed but now rather than just 3 cables flopping around I have 1. And it looks ok. Again, I think I am going to love this device even more as time goes on. But for now, with the caveats I mentioned, I think it is worth it. You get what you pay for and I think it is worth working through these few problems.

For nine months this product works well, unfortunately the case has deformed in the sunlight. I would figure some sort of cover for it. The CarPlay works even with the warped case. The control button doesn’t work anymore so I can’t turn off the display during the evening. It doesn’t dim during nighttime driving. Touchscreen works well.

Texas heat was a major concern. Going on two summers with this device sitting in a hot car where my thermostat has said the temperature has exceeded 140° on several occasions. It still working fine going without a hitch Does everything that I need. I use it for Android Auto. No you cannot watch movies on it as Android Auto does not allow that. But you could scroll through your songs and things like that just fine. Maps work as intended and for the price with a device that does it fail in this heat worth it. If it ever does go out I'll probably buy the same one again.

Bought this for a trip, tested it out and it was great so I adhered it. Not even an hour into the trip the screen kept going black using CarPlay, then it would disconnect it. Reconnecting it sometimes took turning the unit on off and my Bluetooth on and off. Sometimes even that wouldn’t work to connect back to car play. I just had to wait it out. I’ve tried updates, troubleshooting, everything. It’s great when it works, but the whole point was I didn’t want to be looking at my phone for navigation on a long drive which I ended up doing the whole time on my trip. Even on short drives on my trip it kept doing this. The unit wasn’t hot and was working as long as not on CarPlay screen. Useless if I can’t use CarPlay, especially for the price.

Nice picture and has not failed me once. The connection is so strong I have to pull the power to it to get it to let go. LOVE IT

It is perfect for me. The display is larger than others but not so big to be a distraction while driving or at night. Customer service was awesome although they were from another country as I had to wait overnight for an email response. Their response was immediately overnight and correct. I would buy again.
