This vest was a pleasant little surprise! To be honest I didn’t know what to expect on sizing when I ordered it. People who you see wearing these have many preferences when wearing and sometimes don’t have the right sizing option due to store inventory so it’s hard to gage what size to order. It like leaving a 4th grader to choose his shirt size at school - he’s a small but orders an large shirt and it swallows him. Or all the correct sizes are taken so they are stuck in a size that’s too big or too small. Haha I like my clothes to fit me just right. I don’t like excess baggage but I don’t like to feel constricted at all. I’m 6ft, 155 with a 30 inch waist. I wear this vest while I’m working on my art to prevent getting paint on my clothes. I decided to purchase a small and it fits perfect over a layer of clothing (usually a tshirt). The zipper works really nice and smoothly closes up the vest to provide the protection I desire. The black is a true black and is consistent in color all over the vest. As for protection from paint, anything surface level that I get on the vest protects me from damaging my clothing underneath. Now if an entire bottle poured onto me, which is highly unlikely and I’m not sure how I would manage to do that it would eventually bleed through a bit and get onto my clothing. That scenario is highly unlikely though and not a concern that I have. I’m pleased with the protection that it gives me. The price is right, the fit is spot on and it meets all of my needs. Would definitely recommend this to other artist looking for similar protection. I may even buy it in a few other colors for added options. 5 stars here for me. I got tired of asking the higher-ups at work, to order me a 3XL. I am 6'4 and 275 lbs, and I had been given a 2XL and had to wear it for months, with the bottom hem sitting on my belly, instead of thighs or at the belt at least. It was tight on the shoulders, and I looked like an organ grinder's monkey. So I decided to check Amazon since the higher-ups told me I could NOT contact the contracted supplier for our vests, and I was denied the web address, when I asked for it. This company Top Tie made a good vest, that fits to size, the way they stated under the pic of the item on the listing. It's got a good zipper, and fits me the way all my same size shirts do. Amazingly, I found an iron on patch for my company logo on Amazon. Once I place that on my new vest, my spiteful solution will be COM-PLETE. (rubs hands together)

got this when i worked at target and it did its job pretty well, i got fired like 3 days after i received it though so i cant say how long it’ll last you 🤷‍♀️

This thing sheds it's threads everywhere. It serves its purpose for me, as I work in retail and need the pockets, but it's poorly constructed. The price is nice though, so I can't complain. The fabric seems to wrinkle easily, but not a big deal for me. Not sure how long it will last, but I would buy again simply because I need it for work and don't want to pay more money for a higher quality product because I don't get re-embursed by my employer.

Love this vest for work. Unfortunately the small is too big for me though. Please make X-small so I can continue to buy them 😁

I received the item and wore it for only one day before it developed a large hole; it's clearly due to poor stitching. I hope the quality can be improved.

Well made sturdy material that keeps its color wash after wash. Huge pockets where I could fit everything for my shift. Wore mine for 2 years 5 days a week before I needed a new one from general wear.
