Great sounding headphones for a modest price.
Great sounding open ear phones. Plenty of bass . If anything they are a little loud even when turned down low. I hate in-ear headphones and over ear phones can get uncomfortable with extended use. These however are very comfortable to wear. Battery life seems good so far. I will however be buying a clamshell to carry the case/charger in. While the design of tge carry case/charger is slick i worry that I might drop it and damage the headphones ( or lose one in the street).

Sound quality improvement compared to the V20is
I already had a pair of the V20is which I liked due to how comfortable they were and still allowing me to be aware of outside sounds. My wife wanted a pair too so I handed the V20is to her and thought I'd try the V40is as there were on offer. I had read mixed reviews on them and many people stated the V20is are actually better but also read some reviews that the sound quality on the V40is were better. In my comparison of the 2 the V40is are definetely better. The sound is significantly richer and has more bass (even though drivers are the same) to my ear and they have a more premium feel. The case is a bit marmite but I like it and it's quick to undock the headphones. The only downsides in my opinion compared to the V20is are that the battery life is less (but not a problem) and the case is chunkier/headphones not protected. If I was travelling with the V40is in my pocket a lot you would feel them and be a bit worrired that the headphones would pop out (would likely put them in a small pouch). The V20 case is very slim. On the whole though these are worth the small price upgrade (on offer) vs the V20i for the sound improvement alone.

Futuristic
These are the coolest open-ear headphones on the market. The case is incredibly futuristic and very practical. Unlike other headphones and earbuds, the V40i are attached to the outer part of the case with super-strong magnets. The sound quality is excellent for open-ear headphones, as is the battery life. However, don’t expect the sound to ‘wow’ you or to have ANC, as open-ear headphones aren’t designed for that. The white-clear main body and contrasting black hooks add to the futuristic design. The price is also excellent for the quality, especially when purchasing during Amazon’s Prime Week. I haven’t used the touch control options, as I don’t like touch gestures on any headphones. The hooks can be adjusted to a few different positions to fit various ear shapes. I deducted one star because there are a few drawbacks that I personally dislike—though I still recommend them. Firstly, if you wear glasses, there’s a chance these won’t work well with them. Although the hooks are comfortable, they aren’t the thinnest on the market. I wear reading glasses at work and had some difficulty wearing both. Another minor issue is that once you find the best position for the hooks, you have to push them back to their original position when returning them to the case; otherwise, they won’t fit properly. Lastly, there’s no option to turn off the futuristic light on the case while charging. From the user manual, I understand it turns off eventually, but if you charge the case overnight, the light may be bothersome. There’s also no way to check the case’s battery level via the app, but since this is a new product, I expect a firmware update may add this feature later. For now, the light only indicates whether the case is fully charged or not. Despite these drawbacks, they offer great value for money.

Good open-ear option
Easy to pair, secure fit & decent sound quality. Easrly days but I'm hopeful that the case design means that the charging connection will not fail over time as has happened with other designs I have tried.

Disappointing
They sound fine but not exceptional. I have two other clip ons and wanted a louder version as busy roads drown out my others. It mostly works for that. The real issue is how awkward they are in daily use. You have to be very intentional in putting them on and taking them off. They feel massive in your pocket too.

Love these and highly recommend them
I've only had these for a few days and absolutely love them. I've heard and read different feedback about open ear technology about fit and sound and I've always had problems with the fit on bud based headphones and these fit me perfectly after I got the hang of how to wear them and as for the sound that's something amazing the bass is brilliant and even outside in heavy traffic noise in the background they were brilliant and even better sound than my expensive Sony cans which is saying something. It's a completely different experience and much better one which is important for a music lover and deffo recommend downloading the app and playing with a custom equaliser. I even paired them to my work PC at the same time as my phone and had them on for a long time with no issues in terms of comfort and the sound was crisp. I got them on the sale and they are worth every penny and deffo recommend them. Going to wear them to the gym this weekend as well to see how they work there.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED
Purchased at the knockdown price of £30.00. Brilliant set of open ear earphones, sound is far better than what I thought they would be, absolutely no discomfort when wearing for long periods of time. An absolute for gym goers and people who find normal earphones uncomfortable to wear. The only downside is limited touch functionality no volume up/down

Good value and quality
So far I have no issues with these earbuds. They give me the ability to listen to my books or music.

Nice earphones!
To be honest, I am blown away by these. Lately when listening with my regular in-ear earbuds, I have found that I leave just one in so I can hear background noise with my other ear. I would turn the volume up to compensate- it would hurt my ear and I could tell it was not healthy for my hearing. I can listen at a comfortable volume with these, but I don't feel as if my hearing is being damaged. With earbuds, even at low volumes it does not feel healthy for any period of time. These are great for around the house and even driving. I watch a lot of YouTube and podcasts and these are perfect for that too. The only situation I want earbuds for is the gym. The overhead music is very loud and overpowering and for that I want noise cancelling headphones. I am surprised that even at very modest volume, I don't find that background noise drowns out the music- there is no noise cancelling, though I think some do include this. They make a clip-on style which I have not tried, but I prefer this over the ear style. They are also very comfortable. When leaving earbuds in for an extended time, the skin of your ear canal hurts as the tissue is very delicate. These just kind of hang out and are aimed in the direction of your ear canal. I did notice today that my ear was a little sore where the hook was in contact, but its also 90 degrees and I'm sweating. The charging case is kind of an odd style choice. Usually there is a lid that closes. The only concern I have is that one my fall out and get lost. It looks classy- I've attached photos. There are no buttons, and I really prefer the tactile experience of true buttons. You have to memorize the the presses and taps needed to stop, play, and change the volume which I am not crazy about. I found the sound profile to be very balanced. Although I would prefer more base, I am happy with this. It is the design and location of the driver that robs the user of base. If you push the driver closer to your ear canal, you can hear more low frequency, so it is there. The highs are great and do not sound tinny. I think there is an app that includes an EQ, which I have not tried yet, though I plan to. These are $80 headphones, so not the cheapest. This is the most I would pay considering how they can get lost, break, etc. However, I don't know how happy I would be with a $25 pair either. With a cheap Chinese model the sound is really going to suffer. I think with an earbud you can get away with lower quality

Potentes y funcionales!

Top oortjes luidsprekers.
