Santo Tomas Bomba Rice, 2.2 Pound

I did think that this was a little expensive compared to £1.99 for paella rice in the supermarket, but I have to say it was worth it this time. I think most online Spanish shops charge around £10 so I’m guessing this is standard? I’ve cooked paella a few times and never has it turned out this well. It wasn’t wet and sticky and had a good flavour if cooked correctly. I like the packaging too, no plastic, so can be reused for something. Would definitely buy again for a special occasion.

Acquistato appositamente per rendere la paella il più possibile legata al suo territorio d'origine, questo riso si è dimostrato perfetto, in quanto non rilascia troppi amidi in cottura e resta croccante internamente. In questo assomiglia al nostro riso Baldo. Il risultato è stato ottimo, ne consiglio assolutamente l'acquisto. L'unico appunto riguarda il cartellino informativo del prodotto, che nel mio caso è arrivato in lingua tedesca.
