It is Sichuan chili, as the name indicates. It is the type typically found in many types of Asian cooking. Medium heat, nice flavour. Great fore making chili oil, and crispy chili garlic.

If you google the question, sichuan peppers should be 50,000 to 75,000 scoville units (although answers vary). I would have been happy if the peppers available here were even close to that, but what I got seemed way less (not even as hot as cayenne) and were a disappointment.
