Battery operated item was easy to install. Red light only works on objects 1-2 feet away. I was able to set it at 2' 4" only to have it reset at 2 feet. It does have a green and yellow light to let you know your getting close. I found the light to be dim and hard to see if it is a bright day or head lights are on. Appears to be a well made unit.

This product is useless for its intended purpose. We have a very shallow garage that barely fits our Suburban without hitting the wall or having the garage door come down on its rear bumper. This cheap piece of garbage doesn't work. Note that instructions (which only came after I received the package) tells you it needs a MINIMUM of 1 foot from the garage wall to the front bumper of the vehicle to program the device. If I had a full foot of room to work with, I wouldn't need this product! Because of this the device turns "red" for stop (more than) one full foot from wall, STILL leaving the rear bumper of my truck in the track of the garage door. Now I have the installation holes in my wall for a cheap unit that I'm sending back. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

It does not work very well unless it is on a wall that is empty. We have it on the wall and shelves are next to it. We would have to remove our custom shelves for it to work correctly.

It works, it's ok.It's a little bit dim for us as we rock a bright light in our garage which auto senses movement and comes on when the vehicle drives in.I got this because our garage is one of the more "shallow" ones from front to back, but graciously spacious on the sides. We have a crossover SUV for now but plan to get something longer in the short run. Even now, we have to pull the SUV almost bumper to the front wall in order to open up the back to unpack groceries etc. when the garage door is closed.This device just makes sure we don't touch the wall when we do have to get really close.-1 star because it's dim in bright sunlight or when lights are shining on it. Also need to mention that whoever packed it for shipment did not check the batteries. Yikes. I can't bother with the hassle of exchange just to get 4 batteries I already have sitting in a box.+4 stars because for the most part it works as advertised. Uses batteries and has a hookup in case I want to switch to an adapter. It's wall mountable which I wanted/needed and is easily installed and used.

A functional device but with a poor visual interpretation.LEDs with low light and the red signal is barely visible but not in red only in orange due to the glass or plastic lens.I don't recommend it because it's a waste of money

Easy install. Worked as advertised. Keeps me from backing into my work bench. A lot cheaper than a paint job. I have a 2010 Camaro and makes It much easier when backing in.
