My husband’s shoe laces of his favorite pair of shoes were flat, unwaxed, finely woven cotton which had frayed. He really needed a new pair of shoes but he asked me instead to buy new laces, specifying round laces this time. I searched for a pair of finely woven, waxed laces long enough for 5 sets of eyelets and narrow enough to fit through 1/8” holes. Many laces available now are coarsely woven and made for sports shoes, work boots, and sneakers, not dress shoes. This brand has the only quality laces available from what I have seen. I compared them to much more expensive laces of a popular, famous, pricey brand, and these are better than theirs, and for a much lower price.

Slip, wax coated, stayed tied. Seem durable. I like the wax coating, makes them look a little dressier.

These are not dress shoe laces. Far too thick. Maybe for a boot or more rugged shoe. They are made well, but look cheap once strung in the shoe.

I had a pair of dressy black shoes but I was not wearing them because the Shoe Laces were worn off. The GOLAIMAN Waxed Dress Shoe Laces fitted exactly, were easy to put on and make the shoes looks like new. Happy with the product.

It’s a good quality for the price, however expect them to be a bit thicker than they look in the pictures.

I recommend going a size up or two above recommended length. Mine ended up being a bit too short for my liking. Haven't had the laces long enough, but the material doesn't seem too durable or thickly woven - also has a sort of glossy sheen/texture so that would be up to your preference.

A little thicker than standard laces but seems to hold up better.
